Finally, here is Chapter 3! It is one of my favorite chapters so far (there aren't that many chapters yet). xd

I would like to thank TOC yet again for helping me out. She helped me out with describing Krayvin's hair, since I had no idea how to describe it. The descriptions of his hair, and eyes, are TOC's examples. :) She helped a lot with Krayvin's character, she was the one that named him. :D Basically everything about Krayvin, TOC was a part of. :)

Chapter 3

She looked at the doors, which were opened. She must have been too focused on Mr. Naga to notice that someone opened them. A guy around the same age as her stood there, and she never expected him to be there, at that time. “Krayvin.”

Krayvin was the only person that saved her from some of her visits, but he was never there in the morning. If he was there when she arrived he told his Father to let him talk to her. They didn't talk about school, though. They would talk about each other, and share their feelings. She opened up to him, but she was confused about Krayvin. His icy, blue eyes contradicted what he told her. His eyes sent a chill up her spine just from a simple glance into the icy abyss. Yet Krayvin said that he was happy. He was a prodigy that probably knew everything, and could amount to great deeds.

Mr. Naga placed the chair back in its original spot, and walked over to his desk. “What are you doing here? Don't you have class today?”

“We're starting the year off with a huge project, so we have off for a week to do research. I thought I would start here,” he explained.

Krayvin was lucky, just like Fiore. He wasn't stuck at Star Light Academy like her. She only had to survive for a few more years, then she would never have to return to the academy. If only Krayvin would talk to her parents. She was positive he could convince them to let her transfer to a different school. He looked like a professional the way he was dressed. He wore a white dress shirt with black dress pants. He even wore a black tie! She couldn't believe his hair, though. His black hair branched off to the side to cover his right eye, and stood at end just before falling to a frizzy path down to his shoulders.

She couldn't describe how she felt about him. He was so kind to her, and it seemed like he understood her. If it weren't for Krayvin she had no idea what Mr. Naga would have done.

“Are you hurt, Rusu?” he asked with a sincere voice.

“N-No,” she said nervously. He made her so nervous every time he talked to her. He was the only guy who knew everything about her. 'How do I describe my feelings towards him?' Just looking at him caused her heart to beat faster. She swore Mr. Naga and Krayvin could hear it, but never said anything.

“Father, I think Rusu learned her lesson for the day. I'll talk to her, so do you mind if we leave?” Krayvin asked.

“Thank you, Krayvin. I've been exhausted lately, so I would appreciate it,” Mr. Naga said.

She ran over to Krayvin, and he escorted her out of the office. She was saved from Mr. Naga again. Krayvin apparently had good timing when it came to saving her. “I haven't seen you since last school year. How's college?”

“Boring. This project is the only thing I found interesting so far,” he answered.

“Oh. What is the project on?” she asked.

“It's different for every student. My project will be about stars,” he explained.

His project sounded awesome, even though she only knew it was about stars. “W-Well, you saved me from Mr. Naga again. I can help you with your research.”

He smiled at her, and she swore her cheeks were red. “I would really appreciate it, Rusu.”

She smiled, and they continued to walk down the hallway. She assumed they were going to the library to do research. They couldn't leave school grounds until the end of the day. Actually, she couldn't leave, but Krayvin could. He even told Mr. Naga he was starting here, so she couldn't think of another place to do research than the library.

They finally reached the library, which had no doors. Just a walkway into a room filled with books.

“Do you know where to find the books at?” she asked.

For some reason they didn't have a librarian. Last time she was in the library Miss Sara knew where all the books were at. Instead of bothering Miss Sara, it would have been easier to have a librarian.

“I know where most of the books are located at. During the summer, I like to come here to read. A whole section of the library has shelves filled with books about space,” he explained.

She followed Krayvin to the back of the library, and she looked at all the books. The book shelves almost reached the ceiling. “Is this a joke? All of these books are about space!?”

Krayvin nodded, and he started to look at books.

She saw a ladder nearby, not one that she could step on, and she climbed up to the top of the ladder. 'Krayvin can look down there, and I'll look up here.' If she looked up there, then they could cover more books.

She skimmed over titles, looking for anything related to stars. There had to be something wrong with the library, though. She couldn't find any books related to stars. There had to be books about stars somewhere in the library. It couldn't be that hard to find a book about stars!

She looked around the section, until she saw a leather-bound book. She couldn't see the title, but there was a possibility of it being about stars. She reached out for the book, and she thought she heard a strange sound. She stopped to listen, but heard nothing. She continued to reach out for the book, and as soon as she touched the book she realized what the sound was. The sound was very similar to a crack, but she couldn't move in time.

The step she was on broke, and she let out a scream as she fell. She closed her eyes; she was terrified of the pain that would come. After a few seconds, she felt no pain, but she felt warm hands around her. She opened her eyes to see Krayvin's face inches away from her's.

“Thanks, Kray-” was all she said before Krayvin captured her lips.

Author's Note:
It's longer than Chapter 2, but not that much longer. ;) I knew I just wanted it to end there. I hope Krayvin lives up to his name so far. :pwease:
