SP's decisions are getting dumber

So after a 16 episode main plot intense canon arc we get after it a chocho gag comedy romance non-serious filler-ish arc?

Also boruto said in episode 66 it's his story yet SP focus on chocho for 3 episodes after.

SP are the dumbest studio ever in the world.

If it's about padding they could have done an arc connected to the main plot but no chocho arc is better :kk: As for the chocho arc i don't mind it but they aren't taking it seriously. it looks like an OVA or some shit. why not make a serious arc with chocho does it have to be not serious and comedy?

These days, everyone is so serious all the time. Nobody seems to like light heartedness or slice of life these days.

I will admit though that I would have preferred a Sumire filler over a Chouchou one. Hopefully, we should get some Sumire soon, unless the anime is completely ditching the concept of Sumire working for Katasuke.

i liked the first episode but the second ep proved that the writers don't take chocho seriously as a character and still having a comedy arc right after an intense one is a bad decision

Well the super serious main arc stuff your talking about had already been seen, and given the mangas monthly schedule, new main plot stuff would of been nice to see

Ep. 68 was the worst episode I've ever watched... My guess is that the japanese actually love this kind of "comedy" but the rest of the world probably doesn't.

Most of the fillers we got on Shippuden weren't so boring like the ones we got now...

Whilst that is kind of true, at the time of release id rather be watching Boruto than almost any of Naruto's fillers.
