It probably looks so sharpened because of the render. Hmm I like it, but I don't really understand what the blue line is doing there. It's distracting.. I also find the sig a little bit too small. But in overall, quite good.

I think that's normal though. The blue line is Lugia firing some sort of laser from her mouth. xD Almost all the sprite tags I've come across are in a small canvas.
