So, I believe the SpOp are only deceased bodies, thus if any amount of blood is needed to Edo someone, then technically can either have "two" bodies of the same person in play, (and or) said SpOp body would be indestructible even more so as it would constantly regenerate IIRC...?

Pain controlled his paths by putting rods - chakra receivers, into the corpse and manipulated them by transmitting chakra to the rods. If those corpse's DNA were to be used for edo tensei, their soul would be revived into the sacrificial body used in the process.
So yes then there would be two bodies of the same person where one is just a corpse controlled with rinnegen, the other being revived through ET.

Indeed, However... Technically one could use the controlled corpse body of Pain as a sacrifice for said Edo... Which Kabuto should had considered... As he has awesome pushing powers..

New conclusion: inserting rods into an Edo = prevents them from being sealed...

Inb4 counter argument of "Edo's would heal said wounds from said rods; resulting in no chakra rod control", well my good sirs and madams... If an Edo can be experimented upon too have augmentations, then it's not out the imagination too give them essentially "braces"...
