*SPOILERS* Was shikamaru hinting at Asura's power during the invastion of pain arc?

I decided to rewatch the invasion of pain arc and twards the end of it, there was a flashback of shikaku and shikamaru speaking to each other about Naruto. It is episode 169 at 11:30 and can be found here

For the lazy, it basically is them talking to each other about how shikamaru was going to go talk to naruto about jiraiya death and then praises him for having something that attracts people to him.

No it was just showing how special Naruto is as a person nothing to do with Ashura. Shikamaru didnt know about the him being the prophecy child.

No I'm pretty sure that back then it wasn't the first time someone had praised Naruto for having this certain something about him that makes people want to help him, so I think Shikamaru was just another one of those guys
