WHY WHY WHY? Warning again, there are SPOILERS in this.
What the hell happened? They had amazing potential with Ben Kingsley as an amazing Mandarin, but they threw it away from a stupid English actor named Trevor. I thought this would be Marvel's Dark Knight. Mandarin would have his rings of power, Tony has hard personal choices, and ONE ON ONE epic fights (yes plural) between Iron Man and Mandarin would blow up throughout the movie. Iron Patriot should have had a more prominent role as well. I felt we wanted a Dark Knight and got Transformers. Plus the suits were dull whereas Iron Man 2 has much shinier and flashier suits. But like I've emphasized many times, why did they take everything good about Marvel Comics (Iron Man) and PUSH IT SOMEWHERE ELSE? Fans have been asking for Mandarin forever, this isnt what we meant! In fact, Iron Man is not using his suit for almost the entire movie!!!!!! And it's not like he comes back to have an epic comeback and epicly fight Mandarin (a mandarin who is really mandarin not some fake retarded english actor) like Batman did in Dark Knight Rises with Bane.
Also, LAVA PEOPLE? WHAT THE FRICK IS THAT? Lame. You can have lava people, BUT NOT 10 RINGS OF POWER? AAAH. That should've been completely removed, and Im tired or corporate *******s being the main protagonists. Im probably missing some things but this was gist of it. The main criticism still stands: THEY WATSED MANDARIN. It's like the joker halfway through saying he wasnt really a villain and that the chinese guy was the main villain all along. SEE THE HORRIBLE LET DOWN?
