+1 to the awesomeness that is Tatsuya Onii-sama.

Regarding Geass, i've always wanted an adaptation of what would happen if Lelouch really took that deal without his Geass going out of control, though it's not hard to guess. I'd wager the Black Knights would just watch over the zone, but without anyone stopping him, the Emperor would have succeeded in his plan to kill God, which would be the opposite of what both Euphie and Lelouch want for the world. In short - the Anime would have ended quicker.

Yeah true or he could have used his Geass to make Euphie say what he wanted her to say and the series could have easily continued down a similar path, but unfortunately they had to just add more drama lol.

I think he did it on purpose. It definitely helped his goals in the end

Despite what a lot of people think, Lelouch is not a sociopath nor willing to do anything to reach his goals. Besides, Lelouch knew that Euphie had the ability to change Britannia from the inside, something Lelouch forfeited a long time ago.

What is the point of shedding so much more blood and risking defeat, when the revolution can start peacefully and still in full force? It doesn't even make sense logically.

His response afterwards is taking advantage of a mistake. In a game (such as chess), you never put yourself on tilt after a mistake. If you do, you've accepted loss from it. Lelouch was at a critical point of no return after he accidentally geassed Euphie, he had to play out this alternative.
