[Discussion] [Spoilers] So what about that sword?

So the sword wasn't introduced to not be used, what do you think will happen to the sword?

Will Madara's trump card be to steal it? Or is Orochimaru planning on nabbing this weapon?

Will Sasuke break away from Naruto again? He is the natural swordsman of this manga, and his surpassing of Madara seems themed to be marked by how powerful his Susano is, so Sasuke's Susano could wield it possibly. Besides something has to either break up or become stronger than their obviously insane 9 Tailed Susano, otherwise Naruto and Sasuke just win.

I'm not really to sure at this point, anything seems possible =D What do you think?

Its actually just a construct from Obito's black thing that he has been using throughout the fight. It was supposed to represent his will and that it broke when he was defeated.

It just took the shape of a sword.

Yea I thought that at first, but Obito stated that Rikudou had used the sword and also gave it a name, so it wasn't exactly purely his will, although I do see now it is very similar to his black energy used in the fight. Perhaps it is a spirit weapon like Totsuka and Yata?

Its probably like Totsuka, i would think that it has other features, but he did hint that the sword was used to create. I would not doubt it that the reason that it broke was because it was not meant to destroy. Kinda like how Izanami was to counter Izanagi. Totsuka Destroys and the other Creates.

Yes exactly my thoughts, i think we will get another arc to close the story. But before that Naruto will have to Rebuild what was lost within the war, Kishi tends to model his work after DBZ. Naruto will recreate the land and someone will Rinne Tensei the dead. Probably Obito before he dies. Or maybe he could survive but he chooses to do so anyways. I want to see a long awaited Kakashi upgrade, I think he is next in line for Hokage. He is going to need Obitos other eye.

I think he'd be the perfect one to 'carry on' personally, although I don't want to see a rebuilding arc personally, but he would be the perfect one to carry on Obito's definition of a shinobi, which I think will be the ending line of the manga.

And I think Obito will actually give Kakashi his eye if Kakashi is going to get it. Since he isn't an Uchiha though, it seems difficult how he would manage the chakra consumption of two sharingans :erm:

It would probably be hard, but their might be loophole it is technically not ems but maybe it will have the same features since the eyes where not originally his. I am hoping for this so maybe we can see some new jutsu instead of reusing old ones like how sasuke used Susanoo on the Kyuubi

Yea Kishi can do something...or maybe Kakashi has had Senju DNA all along plot twist! Anyways, I'm just wondering though. What could possibly take on PS Kyuubi and a double Kamui Kakashi some crazy things are about to go down I feel so I think we're about to see a ton of originality =D

Haha yes so many power ups. I posted my theory in your other thread. Naruto might activate Juubi mode when he is close to running out of Kuramas chakra. He will have to use the other Tail beasts Chakra that he got earlier and this will allow him to use Juubi mode to defeat Madara. It has already been shown that Obito did not need all of the tailed beasts physically only their chakra. He got Bees from the tentacle that Sasuke got him, and the Kyubbis from the gold and silver brother once they got trap in the pot.

I remember reading that, a really good idea. You're right, the chakra had to mean something, so we should see it soon. Against who is the question though xD I'm going to blind guess Sasuke, but really it is up in the air right now. All I know is power ups on power ups are coming Lol
