All that business with sealing Hyuga's eyes, and Danzos eagerness to get his hands on one. It seems there really was a significant secret being kept by the Hyuga. The question is, do you think the Hyuga clan knew about it's connection to the Rinnegan?

well the huuga actively put seals on their own clansmen so to keep the secrets of their eye's. i would like to believe they know, but there is a huge possibility they don't. if they did, they would have been the dominate clan before the uchiha and senju fell.
