"SPOILERS" So can a senju with uchiha DNA also awaken the Rinnegan?

As seen in the latest chapter, the rinnegan requires both senju and uchiha DNA in order to awaken or use. So can a senju also awaken the rinnegan if he aquired some Uchiha DNA? Or is it also required to have Sharingan / Eternal mangekuyu sharingan as well first to unlock the rinnegan?

I think for this "uchiha DNA" as a Senju you only need their eyes.

EMS turns into Rinnegan, it's the next step otherwise Obito would have unlocked Rinnegan on his own.

I would say yes, because the senju and the uchiha are both decendants of the sage. so i'm guessing it would take both to awaken them.

Yes. Rinnengan was never Uchiha exclusive it's a combination of both senju and Uchiha dna.

No.. Uchiha power = Sharingan, so Senju with EMS is capable of awakening the rinnegans.

Maybe not unlock it persay, but they can use them to the most of their abilities, should the eyes be implanted.
