I believe that Obito will end up saving them somehow, it would be his redemption, I seriously doubt Naruto will lose the 9 tails, Kishi wouldn't have spent most of the manga developing their relationship if he was going to get rid of the 9 tails.

But like I said before I doubt Madara succeeds in separating Naruto from the 9 tails, although he will come close.
