Gai is one of my favourite characters but.....

He really should have died.

I found his speech about protecting the things you love very inspirational and really raised my respect for him as a character that he was willing to reach such levels. But now that he's survived it takes away that feeling of sacrifice from the whole thing especially when Lee spoke those powerful words about him.

Anyway that's my thoughts.

Guy is one of the most intense fighters I've ever seen. That last chapter gave me a sense that I was reading a superhero comic book rather than a manga, and I mean that as a compliment.

Its a Shounen manga, named character deaths are rare in this genre, its basically Japanese Disney.

I believe he's going to die. I think Naruto is just prolonging his life, enough for Rock Lee and Kakashi to get their last words in. I think that's whats on Kishi's mind.

I hope it's a prolong his life a lil bit so he can talk to lee then die, if not then i dunno .

That... I could deal with. One last heart-to-heart with Lee, some speech to Kakashi about rivalry and friendship and such, and one last graceful passage about the springtime of youth.

His leg bone got destroyed , Naruto saved him from dying only , if this keeps up , he might only end up handicap .

Seeing latest chapter, I really want gai live. But maybe with an improper body but I just want gai to live...
