We even see how low of a level Madara is on, even in his strengthened stated, when he couldn't even break 3 of the gates.

That leads me to believe that even though Hashirama said Juubito was stronger than he was, doesn't mean Hashirama thought he could put up a fight. Hashirama was merely recognizing himself as the strongest shinobi on the field, and said Juubito was even stronger than that.

So are you saying he's not getting chakra from all of the bijuu... He literally asked Shukaku for chakra, and they all said they wanted to help...? We all know what happens when you get all of their chakra together... A noble attempt though.

i think that bijuus will give gaara some of their chakra as they did to naruto some chapters before, i also thought that madara seem not to be trying to fight hashiramas gates, he seem calm and confident , not desperate of not being able to move
