(Spoiler) What is Issue #1?

In the last manga, It said that the manga will take a break and will start again on issue #1. What does this mean? I know its suppose to be on a Hiatus, but isn't Naruto on Issue #66 going on to Issue #67 that comes out december 5th?

It's referring to Shounen Jump, not Naruto.

Issue no. 1 is in regards to Weekly Shonen Jump, which is a Magazine in which Naruto chapters get released before the volume release.
WSJ wrote that because they are closing the year, they have like 48 or 49 issues in one year. And they start the year with the new issue of the magazine, which will be no. 1 issue on that respective commercial year.

ignore the people. It means ISSUE #1 of shonen jump. NOT a new series of naruto. So basically naruto will be on hiatus till around the new year.(when issue #1 of jump will come out.)

So unless the japense have a different new year, we will not see another chapter till 2014. Kishi is probably prepareing for the ending of naruto/some more major plot progression.

ugh....Stop acting so high and mighty not all of us are in the same location. Not all of us are avid readers of Shonen Jump magazine, and not all of us are privy to the info that you Shonen Jump gods are. just make a thread about it Sachchidanand stated and leave the annoying attitude behind.

We get it. a ton of threads asking about this is annoying. But seriously there is no need to get your panties in a bunch over it. This sort of thing happens all the time on the base for everything.
