He also also states that nothing happened initially. So give it time something will manifest in Sasuke, but I'm guessing his eyes will be like the Juubi's. Throughout the manga they've made many references to Sasuke's eyes being special, and because he's Naruto's counterpart there must truly be something special about him.

Sasuke isn't the kind of person to inject something into himself to get power. He is too proud of being an Uchiha. Plus he just becomes a mini Madara which would diminish him as a character. He needs to become a powerful threat on his own terms.
