I started watching One Piece anime and completed Ace's death and then the flashback episodes of their childhood. The trio Ace, Sabo and Luffy.
Sabo was assumed to be dead after his ship got shot down by the Celestial dragon.
But I believe that Dragon saved him and let him stay on his ship. after this

The one who needs to be hospitalized wasn't Dragon but the person Dragon brought on the ship. And I'm sure that he's Sabo. If he is alive then he must be strong enough now.

Now back to the topic...
In the anime Luffy announced while standing on his small fishing boat (when he was leaving his village) that his crew will consist of 10 people
Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Nami, Sanji, chopper, Robin, Franky and Brook are the current nine members.
Luffy gave a proposal to Jinbe as well during Fishman island arc to join his crew. Jinbei promised to join the crew after resigning from Big Mom's crew. But I doubt she will allow him to leave or live after leaving her crew. Also Jinbe won't fit in the crew who's an old man.
I believe that at some point Luffy will meet Dragon on his journey and eventually Sabo. He'll give him a proposal to join the crew. But I doubt he will join the crew. But also there is a possibility.
I guess Robin will also play a role in letting Luffy know that she met Sabo because she met Dragon in those 2 years of gap.
This is just a thought. What do you guys think?

Luffy said his crew should exist out of 10 people, but he's the captain of that crew, so that leave 2 blank spots

Jinbei could still join, he's not any older than Brook lol...

I believe Sabo is alive and kicking within the revolutionary army, but I don't think he'll join Luffy. Just like Ace, Sabo will stay at the place where he is.

Sounds good, Sabo being alive isnt anything too far, and i assume after Dressrosa we might find out a lot, and it shouldnt be about Sabo, about other stuff, i guess.

sabo wont be killed by the likes of celestial dragon, anyway if his alive, i know his alive.. but i dont think he'll be joining the straw hats pirates, dont you remember? theyre priking arguing dont stuff when they were kids, but it would be awesome to see him, cant imagined how luffy will feel, cry, jumping for happiness, sadness cos he failed to save ace etc.

idk if he'll become the thenth member but i know hes alive and i think he'll remain as one of dragons top revolutionaries

My predictions on crew members
Tenth member: Violet (crew needs a spy)

Eleventh member: Sol the badass toy (could officiate rules upon the ship or something?)

Twelth member: Jinbei (after Big mom is taken down he will have to join for the safety of Fishman Island,he will fill the role of Helmsman)

Thirteenth member: Enel (Astronomer (and Logia , the crew doesn't need one but it would be cool! , Luffy can keep him in check anyways), he will be fodder to the M3 by this point in the series , around Jinbeis level in strength. And will join the crew , I know this sounds strange)

Fourteenth member/s: Vivi and Carue (if she becomes an excellent combatant. Minimally on par with Nami.)

Fifteenth and final member: Bon Kurei (A dancer for the crew xD , Violet is one but she'd be better off as a spy , he would be hilarious and I can see him making an M4 instead of an M3...)

EOS the crew would be:
Monkey D. Luffy: Captain & Pirate King
Roronoa Zoro: Combat specialist & Worlds strongest swordsman
Nami: Navigator, Thief & the first person to draw a map of the world
Usopp: The worlds greatest sniper
Sanji: Chef & the discoverer of the all blue
Tony Tony Chopper: Doctor & the one to find the cure to everything (Prophecised by Usopps lies)
Nico Robin: Assasin & attained the knowledge of the void century
Franky: Shipwright & the creator of the worlds greatest ship
Brook: Worlds strongest Musician?
Violet: Spy
Sol: Enforcer of the law
Jinbei: Helmsman & brings racial equality for the fishmen
Enel: Astronomer & The one who found fairy vearth
Vivi and Carue: Royalty? No idea....
Bon Kurei: Dancer & the strongest Newkama?

I think Sabo will be a revolutionary commander so he will therefore Ally with Luffy. HOWEVER WE WILL NOT SEE HIM THIS ARC. I see no room for him in the crew

I think he will have grown loyal to Dragon over the years.

I think sabo is alive, and as tachondar pointed out, there are 2 slots left for the crew members.

But i doubt sabo will join, as he would want to be independent from luffy(like how luffy didnt want to join wb with ace).

he would be luffys ally, and may even come on the ship. But not a permanent crew member.

OT - I think Sabo is alive but he is most probably one of the Top Revolutionary Army Commanders and will remain with them.... Though him voyaging temporarily with the Straw Hats doesn't hurt.... A Rev Army Commander on board with SHs would be cool and make the story interesting.... =D =D
