I'll prefer to wait for the chapter and see what happened to Sakura before drawing conclusion, because we don't know the scenario or context and whether Sarada really saved her or not. She punched the little Juubi but we don't know whether the objective was saving Sakura. Or she was just angry at them threatening and actually saw the Juubi thing up to something, and decided to punch it out of fury while Naruto and Sasuke dealt with the Shins.
