No he did it by accident . Of course he did it on purpose .
Even though I liked Neji his character, his ending was quite beautiful. Choosing his own fate, just like his death, protecting the Hyuuga heiress and Naruto, at the same time.

Now i am waiting for Lee and/or Hiashi and/or Hinata, to get some power up, or go through some process due to Neji his death. Lee going gates up to 8 or 7 or so, Hinata and/or Hiashi, gaining new upgrades.
