Didn't they just say in the last few chapters Kakashi would be the 6th and Naruto would be 7th how is this news?

Obito said he wants him to be.many people did not believe he will.

Kakashi should have been the 5th Hokage. If he actually wasn't a lazy late semi pervert, he'd not only surpass the White Fang (who was said to be on par with the Sannin), he might have surpassed Minato. I mean his generation should be at least somewhat stronger so....
