You know that would be an interesting theory if we didnt see how zetsu was created .

Remember the black side came from Madara's will. So this nulls all Itama/Zetsu theories.

But then again in a world where Kishi lets Obito live and Madara arrive before 5000 ninja. Anything can happen.

I disagree....while the thought is there and Maybee Itama's design was made from Zetsu, Zetsu came from Hashirama's DNA and Madara's will.

Though the Kumogakure Ninja that was Gyuki's host before Killer Bee ironically had a similar hair structure as Itama

It's Actually "Itama". And I dont think he was the youngest, Kawarama was seven when he died.
OT: It would be actually pretty awesome if they some how worked that into zetsu being the final villain, and actually some how being "itama" if he some how survived or transferred his soul or something. It would be way better than madara and obito. But no I highly doubt they have any relation.

Zetsu's origins have already been revealed. This theory wouldn't even make sense. Why would Madara want to bring back Hashi's little brother who he never even met?

I mean, do people bother reading the manga anymore? SERIOUSLY, did people, not see Obito's flashbacks, when Madara saved him, and explained, EXPLAINED, that zetsu was formed from hashirama's "artificial" body, pretty much his dna. And did people NOT see that Madara put his will into a zetu, which gave birth to the "black half" of Zetsu?

For clarification, only Hashi has Hashi DNA. The only way for Itami or anyone else to have said DNA is by taking it from him, in the manner that Oro or Madara have; you can't be born with Hashi's DNA unless you are Hashi.

Now, aside from the fact that zetsu's hair is green, black zetsu was proven to be a spawn of Madara, and that white zetsu did not exist until Obito got rock-faced, how on earth does a human being turn into a thing like that?

Hm..Anything is possible. Who knew that Obito could still be limping around like a lost puppy. It would be just like the creator of this series to lie about some things so they can remain secret for just the right given moment. Tobi went around calling himself Madara Uchiha but ended up being Obito. Just read the chapters and see how this will turn out.
