Naruto also didn't eat breakfast. He was also depressed from boruto's disqualification which inhibited naruto performance. Naruto also got tricked by sasuke. He thought that sasuke is super strong and therefore didn't feel the need to go harder

I doubt it, the movie starts off with Boruto stopping her quite easily. Salad/Mitsuki complain a lot that Boruto isn't training and is being extremely lazy, he doesn't even want to join the Chunin Exams because he doesn't understand what it means to be a shinobi, and he does not desire the Hokage path people keep trying to push him on.

Sarada wants to advance as a Chunin so that she can become Hokage, which is why she doesn't want Boruto, her team mate holding her back (as the team needs three to participate in the exams)

He's Rikudou enhanced, he was able to heal from knife wounds to his body remember? He should be able of dealing with most strains to his body outside of the extreme, like losing a limb, but being cut on his body should be an easy fix

You should of seen it dude. Sasuke, and Naruto's team work together, and the way Boruto/Sasuke middle fingered Momoshiki was hilarious.

Boruto just comes out of no where using the same trick Naruto/Sasuke did in the Zabuza arc and drives his Kunai knife in the Rinnegan eye. 10/10 jizz worthy Sasuke

I think Boruto's path is cool, Boruto was extremely inspired by Sasuke, I mean who isn't? I wanna see him grow afterwards because it set him up to finally take training seriously and Sasuke as his master .... he can go so many ways, too bad Kishimoto shits on character development so more shadow clones and rasengan.

It was a good movie, definitely not memorable though.
