ok my point is this if the rinnegan is unlocked though the sharingan and nagato had rinnegan then he must have had an uchiha ansestor how else could he have had it unless tobi or madara did give them to him but if they did it would have been when he was a little kid either way he could use them really well so does that mean the uzumaki are some how related to the senju or uchiha

yes but if rinnegan was from the sharingan then nagato would have to have an uchiha parent right? unless madara did transplant them in nagato or its not part of sharingan

not necessarily.. b/c uzumaki and uchiha are cousins. they both carry the same genes. I'd need to find the specific issue where they talked about it, but i recall that they're related.

well uzumaki's are relatives to the senju , so they have a slight blood relation

Somehow, i don't know how madara did it..... but even he sincerely believe's he's madara, down to konan's last dieing breath, he stuck to his story, before the real madara died, he did something, we know white zetsu is made of hashirama dna. but the black zetsu we know nothing about, i believe black zetsu is made of madara dna, and he made a clone out of himself, it looked just like him, and talked just like him, had all his memories, That day they made a plan.... give the young child nagato his eyes, the fake madara will look over him, and ensure his eyes develop into the rinnegan, when he grows up, use the rinnegan "rinne tensei" to revive me , that was madara's plan, but naruto interviened and made a MAJOR dent in it, nagato ended up using rinne tensei on the whole of konoha... Did you see how furious tobi was? " Damn it nagato! you were supposed to use that jutsu on me" key word me , he thinks he's madara, 16 years ago, during the konoha attack incident, The fox noticed tobi, and said "Youuuu" the fox could only see hiseyes but recognized who the person was.... Who's eyes does the fox remember the most? "Your eyes...More sinister than those of Uchiha Madara's" , Tobi said that he was a shell of his former self, and his goal was to become complete again..... it all adds up, tobi wasn't lieing, he is a madara, but as kabuto said in the recent chapters "The fake Madara" , Kishi even went ahead and put Tobi=Madara in the databook, y ? to change it later?

Could be... I like your theory! tobi could easily be a clone or some kind of super zetsu. we'll prolly know more when we find out how the real madara got some of Hashirama's powers.

but back to the whole 'is the rinne a doujutsu' the answer is still yes, by definition. It has different abilities and so on from the sharingan. so no matter how they are related - thru deevolution or whatever - they're separate techs.

Madara never said you needed senju dna to unlock rinnegan.. all he said was "surpass the sharingan" , the next chapter, kabuto talked about implanting hashirama dna to gain a power.... the power they were talking about there was as you saw.... moukuton... two seperate events, they were talkign about two entirely diff things

if that was the case the older brother would have the rinnegan but obviously he didnt. Only the Sage of the Six path has it because; having the body and the eys= rinnegan and the stamina of the body

thx M8, also forgot to add when madara came out of the coffin he thought he was revived by the "brat" named nagato, The only hole in my theory was that when Madara died , there was no possible way he could know Nagato, A time gap... but Recent chapters indicate, Madara lived on, and that basically clears that jole right up, it's more than possible he met the young child nagato, and gave him his eyes, and tobi's job was to make sure his rinengan awoke, and that real madara got revived, that was their plan, that madara mentioned in the recent chapter " you know about our plan?"

Why did the purplish/white rinnegan he obtained from his father change shape and eventually end up red? it seems that the juubi inside of their father, tainted the brother's eyes, he did not get rinnegan to be exact... but some sort of tainted version of it

So far it seems senju has nothing to do with obtaining rinnegan, it involves an uchiha, his sharingan and it's evolution,
