OK, it has been stated by Itachi and others that when one acquires the EMS the light is never lost. Is it logical to assume that when using a technique such as Izanagi, or Izanami the eye does not loose it's light? This all seems very contradictory but it remains to be seen whether the EMS is as powerful as we think it is.
Side-note: Have you guys seen this video?
It's an official video in the new Naruto game, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm: Generations. If you watch from 3:10 onward you'll notice Uchiha Madara's EMS shining and also you see he somewhat looks into the future and sees the Shodai throwing a large shuriken, perhaps he used Izanami to "Decide" what would happen. (Note that the word "Decide" is emphasizing Itachi's description of it.)
Overall, tell me what you guys think, I'm pretty sure the way his EMS spins is displaying him not loosing the light, and please don't say that it's an upgraded form of the perceiving abilities that the Sharingan grants because his eyes span, and didn't stay still at all, like when Sasuke perceived Naruto's attack, A's attack and so on.
