Hello NB members! Spider-Man here with some amazing news! With some research online, a look at a few articles and some tweets from Robert Liefeld I've come to find out that that The Amazing Spider-Man could collide with The Avengers films! Now at first I was skeptical as you may be reading this now, but hear me out even though Sony owns the rights to Spider-Man when it comes to films they could still partner up with Marvel being that their at war with Fox. That's right the superhero movie makers are all at war over the box office and want to eat each other out. Except for Sony. Sony just wants money. Seeing that they have been having a financial loss recently they really need to make these Spidey movies count. (And stop making the damn games mediocre too) So ever since around the time of the release of TASM 1, The Avengers and The Wolverine Marvel, Sony and Fox have been trying to come to terms and combine their movies to make the fans happy and gain a butt load of cash. Let's just say Fox is so hard to work with I don't see how they are doing so well in the movie industry. That being said Marvel will most likely be teaming up with Sony instead which leads to the Rob tweet: ​

My un-informed prediction, Sony will split producing/financing w/Marvel on next Spidey film and open door for inclusion in Avengers 3.​

If this were to happen it would lead to endless possibilities with the future Spider-Man and Avenger films. They could explore things like the Civil War arc when I gave up my hiding and revealed to the world who I really was.

Which could lead to even more amazing new outcomes! Like maybe my Iron Spider Suit!

And it doesn't end there either! Spider-Man could solidify his role in the avengers being that he Andrew is as young as he is. He could even end up in Marvels future phases of their films which will most likely lead to them creating The New Avengers. This is really where I got to show what I could do and made a real name for myself as an Avenger!

Why Fox would wanna be so greedy and snobby is beyond me. I really don't see why teaming up and making a kick ass movie is such a bad thing. Honestly I think they are just obsessed with X-Men. Don't get me wrong I love the X-Man franchise it is stellar to say the least, but it doesn't make up for all the lost places they could have went with it. Maybe they are just jealous of Marvel and if that is the case, all I have to say to that is...​

Sorry. It's not happening. It should but for some reason Hollywood treat it like some unspoken rule.

A Civil War storyline would be perfection on film but eh, it's so impossible for so many different reasons (needing Spiderman, needing a bigger cast, assuming Chris Evans/Downey Jnr will even still be tied to to the series etc etc.

I don't get why they don't do it just to like- create the biggest potential blockbuster of all time?

The movies tend to downplay Spidey. Being that I can lift over 1000 tons in the comics I could do more than just shoot webs which they are also downplayed in the movies.
