While scrolling Stan Lee's page on Facebook, I saw him share an official confirmation of Spidey's appearance in the Civil War movie. The director stated that Spidey's appearance was planned since the very beginning.

So there, to all those who were discouraged because they didn't see Spidey in the latest Civil War trailer, you got it confirmed. Spidey's coming.

Robert Downey Jr confirmed it in a interview about a week ago, but if anything it will only be a brief cameo.

Anyway, I think Spidey will be a noob in the MCU since he's gonna be younger than in previous movies, so will probably take a back seat to Tony and the crew.

Yeah, I really don't like the actor they chose, he just looks so... ugh. Spidey in college is way better than Spidey in highschool, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Well this spiderman will be the youngest we've seen in the movies so far. It could work, but I've never heard about the actor until now. Apparently he can do gymnastics and is pretty flexible, which is one of the reasons to cast him. But yes like you said we'll have to wait and see. Although we have to wait for the 2017 solo film to actually judge his performance.

For the first appearance it will definitely be silly looking, thought they might go full CGI for the real costume.

Isn't that just a fan art?

Personally, I don't think Marvel's got the guts to change a popular character's costume too far from the original. That's DC's thing.

Even with CGI, the actor still needs to be able to perform certain things. It all depends on how they go about the fight scenes/stunts etc. It certainly will play some sort of a role, otherwise they wouldn't have mentioned these particular skills of his.

Thor is in Asgard due to the visions he got in Age of Ultron, Hulk we don't know for sure. But he will co star in Thor Ragnarok.

There were a lot of characters in comics Civil War, but they can't use all of them on the screen for a 2 hour movie. Besides marvel doesn't own the rights to all characters.

They change the route quite often. The source material is only there as an ispiration. The movie usually keeps only the key moments, in Civil War, this is going to be the case with Cap vs Tony, and instead of the plot being about secret identities, it's gonna be about goverment wanting Bucky.

We had similar things with Age of Ultron wich was nothing like the comic.
