Today is a great day. The skies are clear and the sun is out shinning its warm rays down onto the area warming up the land. This is the perfect day for a relaxing spar. Velvet who has made her way to the middle of the training field waits patiently for her partner to show up. The two of them plan on having a friendly match between one another to keep themselves in shape for whatever may come in the future. While waiting for his arrival Velvet begins preparing herself for the match forming a small fire ball in her right palm and tossing it to her left which is followed by a few more. One after another reaching the opposing hand the fire balls disappear as she uses the marking on her left palm to absorb them, adding the chakra to her collection to be used later on in this match. Of course, as she is doing this Velvet is also absorbing her own chakra from her body and converting it to her dark collection.

Description:
The user will shoot a small fireball from his palm, it will pop up and jump to the opposite hand where the physical and spiritual energy of the fireball is extracted by the Dark Mark on the user's palm. This is the half the equivalent of Inhaling Maw, meaning it must be used twice to be able to use Techniques that require one use of Inhaling Maw and four times to be able to use those that require Ultimate Inhaling Maw. If this is used only once then only B-Rank and below Dark jutsu can be performed.

- This technique can be done in rapid succession (three uses will occupy the same time frame), though it will still count as one of your three moves for each usage.
- IF used in rapid succession up to twice or three times, it has a two turn cooldown till it can be used again at all.

The absorption of 20 chakra points will enable the user to perform one dark technique (up to A rank) which requires it and whereas 40 chakra points will allow the user to perform two respectively (max of B rank each).

Today's agenda... oh right. A training session with Velvet. Feitan had been hanging around with her so much lately that her name was an everyday word in Feitan's vocabulary. The weather was just normal, the sun spreading its rays everywhere possible. The gentle breeze was warm too. All this positivity in nature would be put up against such a negative influence; Feitan. This short, ruthless guy who strangely cares only about his village mates. Just like Velvet, he also absorbed some of his own chakra from both of his hands and converted it to dark for later usage. Then he started playing around with a few fireballs.

"Now what will you show me today, Velvet."

It wasn't long before Feitan arrived playing with a few fire balls like she had just done herself. It was obvious he was doing the same thing as her, preparing for the match. Not long ago both of them faced off in a short match in the Land of Fangs testing each others newly acquired abilities, but that fight ending fairly quickly and Velvet didn't get to test all the moves she had wanted too. It was clear to her that Feitan didn't get to do the same and this spar here would let them. Velvet begins walking over towards him stopping just on the border where short range enters mid. "Well I am hoping we get to finish where we left off at in the Land of Fangs. Ever since our spar in the Land of Fangs I have been wanting to continue that match. It had been some time since I've had that much fun, and I could tell after the end of it that you had plenty more hidden up those sleeves of yours. Feitan I want to see the rest of what you have come up with, and of course I will do the same as I am sure you already knew that I didn't show everything that I had came up with either." Now getting into her fighting stance she awaits for his reply.

With the usual way she talked, confident and with tone of seriousness in her tone, Velvet mentioned the spar they held at the Land of the Fang not too long ago. The male Dark user was immediately thrown back reminiscing. It was indeed a good but short-lived battle. Both of them were able to show their new abilities but not to a full extent. Hence, this would be a perfect chance in order to do so. Seeing Velvet getting ready for the battle, Feitan's heart races fast as he was about to experience the same excitement again. Battling her was quite fun. "We were pressed for time the last time we fought, but that isn't a thing anymore. We can unleash our full potential right here and it wouldn't harm anyone." As if they would care if anyone was hurt right now. The only thing that was keeping them from thrusting their claws towards each other were just these seconds.

That was all she needed to hear from him as a grin creeps along her face letting Feitan know the match has begun. Lunging forwards at a daring speed Velvet closes the small gap between them hoping to start off with a little close quarter combat, but also hoping to see if she could also play a little trick on him. As she seemingly gets closer she forms two very quick hand seals and then drops to the ground, extending her left arm and propping her left hand firmly on the surface of the ground to use it as a sort of spring to launch herself upwards, with her right leg extended outwards to perform an upper kick to his chest hoping to send him flying upwards at an angle that would send him back a few meters. Of course, the reasons for the hand seals before she dropped to the ground were to trick Feitan into thinking she was going to use a jutsu, but rather a simple upper kick, or is that really true? The hand seal were indeed used to trick him but they also were not as the two seals formed helped increase the power of her dark attack she released the moment her left palm touched the surface of the ground. The moment her hand touched the earth she had sent her dark chakra into the ground right in front of her, right under Feitan as they were so close to each other. This dark chakra was already in the form of two small parasites that were already absorbing his chakra as Velvet is connecting with her kick so the force of the impact would distract him from feeling of the lost of chakra. These two parasites would have already absorbed 30 chakra points each from him(lost of 60 points from Feitan) of course Velvet unknown to Feitan would be losing chakra as well but willingly, allowing her two creatures to fully mature into their complete forms and would stay underground waiting for the right moment to reveal themselves. After landing the kick Vevet raises up facing Feitan still with the same grin on her face, waiting for him to make his move.

Description: A technique dependent on earlier Dark Released used techniques, Foul Play comes into play with the user making use of it to empower his own Meiton techniques. This technique is always used in the same time frame of a dark technique and needs to meet two requirements. Them being the user needing to string together two hand-seals (in addition of any hand-seals the original technique has), and making sure that he has absorbed two or more techniques first. Even if the user has absorbed one it's fine as long as he uses it on dark techniques which do not require to absorb something beforehand. So, with the sacrifice of one dark "fuel", the user adds +20 damage to any dark technique used. The boost's aesthetic manifestation depends on the nature of the technique. If it is used on release-type techniques, it will make the flames darker in colour, or if used on a technique like Dark Release: Revival Fist, it will make the shock-wave's purple color more vivid. Of course, the user also spends +20 more chakra in addition to that of the technique he uses Foul Play on. The range of Foul Play is also the same as the technique's it's used on. The user, however, needs a one turn cool down before he uses this technique again, so it cannot be used consecutively.

(Meiton: Kuroi Rei ) Dark Release: Black Ghost

Description: After having absorbed a jutsu before hand through any dark related absorbing jutsu(Inhaling Maw, Draining Touch, Ultimate Inhaling Maw, etc.) the user will place either hand onto the ground and release their dark chakra into it a meter or so from their position. Where it will then take on the form of up to 2 small little parasitic life forms that are no bigger than a common house fly and look almost similar to that of a fetus. These parasites in their current form stay underground until they have absorbed enough chakra(total 60 chakra points) from jutsus(following the strength & weaknesses) that send chakra into the ground or from the opponent(s)(-30 each turn) themselves. If so the user wishes he will allow the parasites do absorb his own chakra if needed to allow them to grow. Once they have taken in enough chakra they will grown in size and take the form that of a demonic creature that is about 7ft in height. They will come above ground and fight on the user's command. Each parasite has their own unique make up be it a different sized torso, legs, head, etc, but they have three similar features. These features are their extremely long claws on their hands and feet along with sharp fangs. Being made of dark chakra they are each able to perform any dark jutsus the user knows up to and including S-Rank and are capable of using strong arm taijutsu. Because of the dark chakra they are made of they gain a +10 boost to their taijutsu, and carry the passive ability of Dark Release: Draining Touch. If one is ever to take damage that's insufficient in destroying it, the user spending a little more chakra can restore said damaged area back to normal, except for the head of the parasite. Once the head of one has been destroyed it will cause the parasite to glow light blue and explode into a maelstrom of light blue flames that will burn everything in its path within short range of it. Also if the user wishes he can have the parasite explode any time he wants by performing a single hand seal.

It began. Velvet dashed forward and upon a certain distance she dropped herself to the ground. A performance of handseals was immediately noticed by Feitan. Then in the next split moment, he saw an upper kick making its way towards his chest area. It looked like a normal kick; not amplified by any elemental chakra as far as Feitan could see only by his naked eye. So he was going to take this as a normal body art attack. He'd ignore the handseals for the time being. Now with the incoming kick, Feitan raises his knee and lowers his elbow simultaneously, creating a sort of a "bear trap" for Velvet's leg. The two sides of this bear trap will abruptly grasp the limb and hold it in place, preventing the kick from making a connection with the intended body part of Feitan. The impact of the elbow and knee on the woman's leg would of course be painful. In a fluid motion, Feitan casually rolls the hand towards and touches a part of Velvet's clothing in the most natural manner. Of course he would use this "casual" way of touching Velvet in order to stream dark chakra in her clothes. This chakra will spread around her entire clothes and unbeknowst to her in this intense moment, they would gain a slight blue hue. Feitan, also, had noticed a loss of chakra in him. Being a master of Dark Release he knew that this must be the work of a dark release technique. That said, he performed a leg sweep aimed at Velvet's pivot foot and made her fall completely. He'd then step on her boobs and use them as a spring in order to jump high in the air; as he triggered the dark chakra in her clothes by doing a handseal.

(Kōsa Hō) – Intersection method

Description:
Much like the Dark Release : Draining Touch this will require the user to touch the opponent with their palm and channel their dark chakra through the opponent's clothing, once that has been achieve the absorbing dark chakra will start off as B-Rank in strength absorbing some chakra from the opponent to begin with, and then it will go up a rank each turn sapping more chakra from the opponent. The maximum rank this technique can reach is only S-Rank, however the dark chakra embedded into the clothing will keep seeping chakra until the hand seal is made. The clothing that has been embedded with the chakra will gain a light purplish/black hue. For B-Rank the clothing with just gain the light purple/black hue, at A-Rank the clothing will darken up to a regular purple/black hue, and S-Rank it will turn a dark purple/black hue.

By forming a hand seal the user will active the dark chakra in the opponent's clothing which will then cause the Dark chakra to burst into blue flames, setting the entirety of the clothing the opponent has on fire upon activation. Depending on the strength the opponent will receive deadlier damage, at S-Rank they would die in a second from the intense heat; whereas A-Rank would leave major burns if not dealt with, B-Rank only causes minor burns if not dealt with. Flames will keep burning until the opponent is dead if left undefended.

With her dark move gone through and the upper kick initiated Velvet was sure her kick was going to land but no...it failed midway through thanks to Feitan intercepting the blow to his chest with his own knee. "Humph..." The grin that had been stuck on Velvet's face since the start of the match withers away from the disappointment from her failed upper kick. Though the feeling of disappointment doesn't last long as Feitan tried to follow up with a downward driving elbow to her right knee. Does Feitan not see the armor protecting her right knee cap? Guess not, but it doesn't matter much anyways as she has something else planned for him than for him to just hit the armor. As the elbow drives down the same grin that had just vanished returns as the lance-blade hidden in her right armored boot extends outwards towards his arm he is using to attack with. With the momentum of him dropping his elbow to attack and the speed at with the hidden lance-blade extracts outwards, and the fact the both of them are literally touching there would be no way of moving out of the way or countering it. With the blade piercing into his attacking arm it would not only stop the attack but the pain from it would surely cause him to lose his focus even only for a brief moment. With this Velvet would quickly lower her right leg and follow up with a sweeping kick with her right leg knocking Feitan off balance while also having the still extending lance-blade slice into his legs. Now hopefully in some good amount of pain(all the attacks with the hidden blade were non life threatening, but would still cause a good deal of pain), unable to focus and falling to the ground Velvet leaps backwards a few meters(still staying within the boundaries of short range) releasing a small blast of dark chakra towards him that would cause some minor damage if he isn't able to counter.

The impact of his elbow on her knee had no effect whatsoever, because of the protecting armour. The Dark user's sharp senses noticed the lance blade hidden in Velvet's right boot extract and reaching to his attacking arm as Feitan was lowering his elbow in order to touch Velvet. Not caring about the slice the blade would cause to his arm, Feitan stretches his other free arm, from which sleeve a kunai is taken out fluidly. Feitan grabs the kunai and thrusts it forward Velvet's right cheek, right below the eye, intentionally. He didn't want to get her blind anyway. Velvet now would either be forced to extract her leg along with her blade back and not slice Feitan's arm, or else her right cheek would be brutally pierced and causing a massive hemorragy. In whatever scenario, Feitan drops the kunai to the ground and with the same hand punches Velvet in her neck, stopping her breathing for a few moments. The hit would send her one meter and a half back, once again creating a diversion for Feitan to grab the kunai in the ground and now go for the ultimate hit; a stab at her neck.

Feitan taking the hit from the hidden blade continues with his uninjured arm extending outwards towards her face as a kunai exits his sleeve into his palm hoping to land a menacing strike towards he cheek. With her free right arm she raises it upwards allowing the protective gauntlet on her arm to deflect the strike of the kunai. At this time Velvet retracts the lance-blace that has pierced into Feitan's arm and uses her right leg that is connected with his knee to push off of him, while also pushing upwards with her left arm that has been placed on the ground. This would lift her up a bit while moving her backwards away from Feitan. Though the moment she does so a fist covered in lighting attached to a long arm rises up from the ground right between them ever so quickly. As the arm rises hoping the fist would connect with the bottom of Feitan's chin to send him flying upwards, a body also rises with it. It was one of the creatures Velvet has created at the beginning of the fight when she first placed her left palm on the ground. This was its chance to strike. If this attack were to connect not only would it deal a good amount of damage to Feitan and send him flying into the air, it would also drain a great deal of his chakra as just from the littlest of touch from the creature will have your chakra drained from the body. With him now left to deal with the surprise attack from one of her creatures Velvet now a safe distance away(a few meters or so) watches to see how he will deal with this new combatant.

And it was yet again the armor which had ruined Feitan's plans. The Dark user never expected that clothing would come so in handy when in battles, guess he was proven wrong and god at this unconvenient timing. His arm got pierced by the hidden blade as Velvet was now trying to retract her leg which was connected with his knee. Before Velvet would push off fully, Feitan with both his hands would reach his ninja pouch and grab a multitude of explosive tagged kunais and threw them in an disorganized manner in an above arc. They would rain down on the entire short range of Velvet and especially at the place she would land on, judged by Feitan's own calculations. The kunai's exploding would not only do some stinging, but the sharp projctiles would also make it very hard for her to land safely. (Simply put, very few of them are shooted directly at Velvet. The majority of them are scattered around the place she's about to land) The Dark user had jumped up simultaneously as he threw the kunais
Just as Feitan was about to put a proper treatment to his every suffering injured hand, he would stumble upon another problem. A very long hand would come from below, kinda exactly right beneath Feitan with a lightning infused fist. The lightning cracking the ground was a good give away of it coming. This time, Feitan decided to let his injured arm rest a bit and use his other one, activating pretty quickly an automatic Inhaling Maw which would tank the half of the lightning fist. The way Feitan adjused his arm was exactly in order to cover the chin, so his hand took full damage remove the lightning one. (As discussed, a 30 damage done to Feitan). Luckily at the same time, this impact pushed Feitan pretty quickly from the short range area. Now he could freely perform two handseals (the technique's and Foul Play's, but since I got Dark as specialty, I can only perform it with one) with some struggle and apply dark chakra around the edges of the short range, erecting a column which will trap inside both the creature and Velvet, which was now dealing with the explove tagged kunais. Feitan landed approximately just 2 or 3 meters outside of the short range area, immediately grabbing a bandage for injured arm to stop the blood and doing light exercises for the other one which took the punch. He believed that his two enemies would do something about the column, however, it would buy Feitan enough time to heal both of his arms, even if a little bit.

"She managed to kick me out of the fighting range, gotta hand it to her. This battle is far from over, though. I'll slowly make up for all these strikes she's landed on me."

Description: The usage of this technique lies with the user activating one of their Dark Marks, on either of his hands. Upon the activation, it will stay active for four turns. The functional Dark Mark will take the manifestation of dark purple chakra surrounding the user's arm, and will serve as an active Inhaling Maw which automatically absorbs elements and ranks according to the S&W scheme (A-rank for strengths and so on) without the user needing to. Simply put, the user won't bother directing his arm outwards to absorb, but the vivid dark chakra around his arm will do the job for him. This means that the user can carry on with other actions as Guardian Angel does its job. Should any absorbable technique come within the short range of the user, it will immediately get absorbed by the dark chakra. This ability can also extract the physical and spiritual energy from chakra infused weapons. The user, however, won't be able to use his releasing ability on the chosen Dark Mark, but the other Dark Mark can still be used.

With the sacrifice of chakra each turn, the user will only be able to absorb up to A rank techniques per turn. The technique will not stop once it has absorbed an A rank technique, but it will simply not be able to absorb anymore during that turn. Can be deactivated at will.

Description: The user will perform a single handseal and focus their meiton chakra into the ground beneath the opponent. The dark chakra will emerge in the form of a violet-column that spans a short-range radius around the opponent and surrounds them from all sides. The column is completely opaque and will extend long-range into the sky, thereby making aerial escape impossible. To escape it, the opponent will have to destroy it or merely move through it. The latter method works due to the column's intangibility and anyone inside/outside the column can simply pass through it. However while not physically damaging to do so, anyone who comes into contact with the column barring the user will lose 100 chakra. As per dark's innate absorption capabilities, the column can absorb neutral techniques of the same rank (S-Ranks → F rank for elements weak to dark, B-Ranks → A rankfor elements strong to it). Upon absorbing a technique, the column will explode into a maelstrom of purple flames and obliterate everything inside. To destroy the column through the use of a technique, the opponent merely has to use a jutsu which exceeds it's threshold for absorption. This will work even for matter-based elements as the column still leeches chakra from them as they pass through it. For example, an A-Rank → S-rank Earth technique passing through the column will neutralize it completely as it attempts to absorb all of the chakra within the doton jutsu. It will not explode into flames or leech the chakra completely as A-Rank → S rank earth exceeds it's threshold for absorption but it will weaken the earth jutsu by one rank. This weakening will happen despite the power of the original technique as part of it's chakra is consumed.
