this explains it...people see the dimensional travel but u cant see time so they dnt understand that its part of the space time equation, time comes into effect just how u explained it...

Yea that makes much more sense, just mashing the rules of both together. I doubt Kishi cared too much about physics.

This. By manipulating space you automatically warp time. Just as if you time travel you are really going to an older or younger part of that space. The bending or ripping of space to travel is what effects time, there for it is both a space and a time jutsu.
