Of course. In it's purest form, nature should be an experience that all of us should be able to experience with little to no cost. That's how it was when humans first trotted across the planet, and thus is the most natural way of doing things.

Ocean exploration, the idiots are spending trillions of dollars to explore a tiny fragment of space, while we don't know squat about 2/3 of our oceans. And I can put my hand in fire that there are thousands of undiscovered species here at our grasp, some of them intelligent. Just look the documentary on sirens for example (their carcasses have been found). There are tons of examples.
