In the manga, Naruto leaves Konoha for his three year training as soon as he's healed up from his fight with Sasuke. In the anime they find some bogus excuse to have him stay and use that to go into a few filler arcs, including the Raiga Kurosuki one. Canonically, that Arc couldn't have happened as there was never time for Naruto to stay in Konoha and do so.

This episode refer to this filler ARC, it's not that hard to understand.

Raiga was proved to be a canon character along too.

Sarada fought long ranged because she was up against a Kenjutsu specialist. She might have some strength, but like Sakura, she largely lacks any style of her own, at least right now. If she'd tried getting close up with Buntan, even with her Sharingan helping her out, she would've ended up stabbed in the chest. Keeping her distance and relying on Genjutsu and Ninjutsu was easily the best call.

I think you miscounted the events of the fight. It wasn’t surada keeping her distance but Buntan. She put up the Mist and kept her distance because she didn’t want to face a Sharingan user up close and get caught in her genjutsu. That’s why Sarada kept calling her “Shy Girl”

It wasn’t so much Sarada that was at the disadvantage at cqc but Buntan. When Sarada didnget close she used Copy Wheel and stole the swords Jutsu and used right back in her.

Buntan, again, proceeded to distance herself and hide behind her Mist. But it was too late as Sarada had already genjutsued her by then.

Buntan was at the close range disadvantage not Sarada.

Mitsuki use lightning in the anime but the DB clearly indicate that he doesn't have lightning:wut:

Mitsuki was still an underdeveloped character. when Naruto started naruto in the databook didn't have rasengan but then after he had it in the manga the databook changed and added rasengan to his arsenal . stop trying to find excuses. you're a hypocrite

they did a mistake yes but that doesn't meant the entire episode and everything sarada did is non existent. it is what it is even if it were to be filler af i don't care i don't give 2 fks i enjoy what i want

The sharingan episode with Sarada will be probably be one of my favorite episodes in Boruto. SP brought back actual tactics.

It was a primarily long long-range type, Sarada had to rely on her sharingan and use that. If she’s got too close in CQC she’d get electrocuted and inpaled unlike her mother she dosen’t possess healing so she can’t take the chance.
