SP Answer To The Sarada Haters

What is funny is what they did with Sarada this episode. It is like they heard the haters say is she is Sakura 2.0 that can only use CES and throw shuriken which is all she had done so far. Instead they had her win a match using no CES and not throwing shuriken at all. Still in the GIF below she clearly had an opening to end the fight much earlier with a punch or kick since that is all it would have taken to wreck Buntan. You could even say in that aspect she was actually nerfed.

Sarada fought long ranged because she was up against a Kenjutsu specialist. She might have some strength, but like Sakura, she largely lacks any style of her own, at least right now. If she'd tried getting close up with Buntan, even with her Sharingan helping her out, she would've ended up stabbed in the chest. Keeping her distance and relying on Genjutsu and Ninjutsu was easily the best call.

She had a clear opening in the gif I posted where she was right in front of Buntan and if she kept going could have hit her without Bunta getting a chance to cast her jutsu but instead she stopped and simply copied it. She is truly the only ninja we have seen her age in the recent generation skilled in ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu.

Not really a clear opening. I'll give you the CQC segment, but Buntan was on the last seal to cast that jutsu. If Sarada had tried to get a hit in, she would've been caught by the lightning ball. She was still moving as she cast the seals after all, her momentum wasn't halted. That's why she was forced to use a lightning ball of her own.

Dude, no offense, but you're a hypocrite. You praise the anime and calling it Canon, when Boruto starts showing that greatness.

But when it comes to Sarada, you want to start acknowledging it as filler and wanting a manga scan to show proof.

In the manga, Naruto leaves Konoha for his three year training as soon as he's healed up from his fight with Sasuke. In the anime they find some bogus excuse to have him stay and use that to go into a few filler arcs, including the Raiga Kurosuki one. Canonically, that Arc couldn't have happened as there was never time for Naruto to stay in Konoha and do so.

This episode refer to this filler ARC, it's not that hard to understand.
