Hi, thanks again.

Umm, so sound is somewhat self explanatory, its the essence of infusing sound waves with chakra to create various affects. If i remember rightly, sound has like, two forms, damaging sound waves and like, hypnotic? sound waves. One is used more like sonic booms, blunt trauma, ect, to cause physical damage to someone, while the other is used more like to hypnotize someone with sound waves through genjutsu. I believe regular sound waves that do damage have a travel speed, but genjutsu based sound jutsu are instant?

Description: The user will enhance their hearing by infusing his ears with sound chakra. Then, by utilizing chakra and enfacing his lungs, the user will be able to control the frequency and intensity of the sound emitted from his simple breathing. This low frequency, inaudible sound is passively emitted and has no effect other than emerging from him and bouncing off of objects. Using the enhanced hearing, the user is able to know where everything is around them, effectively creating a sonar effect through the rebound and reflection of sound waves. The hearing and the sonar effect is precise enough so that one can effectively use it to substitute one's vision in battle if needed. Despite being very effective, specially if the user has any of his other senses hindered, it also leaves the user vulnerable to sound genjutsu or sound attacks which will be much more drastic in its effects.

pretty simple, just channeling chakra into onesears to increase their hearing, makes you sonar based like a dolphin oir a bat

Description: A simple technique where the user touches an object and infuses it with sound chakra, enabling it to vibrate and produce a low frequency, high amplitude sound. The vibrations cause objects to bounce off of the targeted object which is highly useful when fighting with weapons or to make thrown basic weapons resist opposing thrown weapons.. It also resonates to the user if he were to be blind (because of a genjutsu for example), letting the the user know the objects position and what it deflects. It can also be applied to solid objects or structures the user may wish to destroy or, by applying it to the ground or similar, detect what is around him by making it resonate with the same low frequency. The object gets no added power, only the ability to deflect incoming objects that want to counter it.

First one is pretty cool, i like the concept of using vibration to counter another strike. Its a simple jutsu again, imbuing sound into a object to create high vibrations to deflect techniques off them when they collide.

Only question, i assume this technique only works on B ranks? Aka, if my opponent used, say, a A rank chakraless Kenjutsu slash, this wouldn't deflect that?

Second one is simple, you create a small sound by clapping the hands, and then infuse sound into it to make it a bit like a sonic boom or a boomburst kind of techniques, no real questions, the jutsu covers it

This happens because the sound vibrations damage soft tissue by resonating within the water molecules that reside within it. first is cool, a localized sonic boom through taijutsu strikes, and even disables them.

only question, what would happen with a head strike


Second is simple, just amplifies your voice and you scream forward, releasing it in an aoe burst, does more damage in water due to how sound travels within water, no questions

Description: The user charges Ototon chakra into his hands and snaps his fingers, triggering a genjutsu through the emission of high frequency sound waves. As he snaps, the sound is amplified, sounding as if it is directly by the enemy's ear. To them, it sounds as if something has just snapped in half. The user then manipulates the illusion to make it appear as if either a large branch has fallen from a tree or the ground under them has broken clean in half, causing the target to believe they are falling through the earth or have been struck with a large object, pushing them to the earth. The user has control over the illusion, being able to make it seem as if entire trees have been snapped in half, falling on the target or as if an earth structure has collapsed either above or beneath the opponent, etc. The illusion can be edited to fit the situation and even the sound can be slightly altered deepening on the object that is "snapped". Is more effective depending upon the terrain this is used in ( extremely effective in a forest, not effective in a desert ).

However, instead of causing a foe to become disoriented, it impairs his hearing, making the buzzing the only thing that he can hear, seeming as if the target has bees swimming around his ear. The buzzing drowns any sound out, unless they are exceptionally loud (i.e. great explosions, one yelling directly into the target's ear, etc), making it very difficult for the target to hear incoming jutsus or attacks.
Note: Hearing impairment lasts 3 turns

I figured it would crit, but i mean how would that affect the whole "making the opponent unable to use the body part that has been hit for 1 turn" Would they just be unable to even counter the next turn?


First one is a sound genjutsu, which occurs by channeling sound chakra into your fingers and then clicking them to amply the chakra and target the opponents brain. The genjutsu itself is pretty simple, creates either a falling illusion or a crushing illusion.

It says this genjutsu can be editted to fit the situation, could i make this genjutsu act like a paralysing gen by saying something like "As the opponents falls a short distance, his arms get stuck between two tree branches holding them up" or is this genjutsu like a falling forever genjutsu?

Second is just an amplified whistle, aiming to impair the opponents hearing of jutsu, likely ones from acute angles.

This technique reads like it needs to be maintained, is this the case? If so, does it take a Move every turn?

Nope, no paralysis unless specified it just means the illusion can be adapt to basically fit any location per say.

First one is just a really big low frequency boom from the vocal cords, its very self explanatory, no questions

Second one is interesting, it says it releases a wave that incapacitates anyone who hears it, and triggers tags

A few questions here

Does my bio actually have to cry for this happen, or is it more vocal cord based
Does this move at sound speed or sound genjutsu speed?
What degree is the incapacitation, will it just stop someones movement, or will it halt jutsu/handseals

First one is just an enhanced version of its previous, its more focussed, deals more damage, and gets more damage through water, no questions

Second is cooler, you gather sound chakra in your hands, and the slam them together, the resulting collision resulting in a large blast from you as its center, a good technique to use against taijutsu

Only 1 question, the technique says short-mid, is the push back from short to mid as well?

The ringing continues to grow as time progresses, originally disrupting how a person hears hampering their ability to think clearly. From that point, it starts to mess with their balance until they become incredibly disorientated, and unable to mold chakra properly due to this.
Note: Lasts 8 turns and reduces damage of the jutsu used against the user by -5 until this effect wears off while increasing the chakra cost of every technique the enemy uses by +10

First technique is strange, you send chakra through your feet into the ground below, to create vibrations which intensify with each step, and these steps somehow travel into the opponent. This also causes internal damage, i assume from the vibrations making peoples internal organs shift?

A few questions, does this make a psuedo earth quake?
Also, how badly would someone get damaged if they where underground as this occured?

Second one is much clearer, you channel sound chakra into your limbs before striking someone. As you strike them, you send the sound waves into their body, and depending on the frequency, it deals different kinds of damage.

A few questions on this one as it raises weird points.
Firstly, It states this does 60 damage, but what would happen if i used a A rank chakraless taijutsu technique and this at the same time, what would the damage numbers be?
Also, it states it can shatter anything on contact, and as such cant work on bladed weapons, but what if, for example, my character had on gauntlets, which could stop a sword from harming me, would the sound waves then be able to break the blade?

This technique confused me in the sense of i dont quite understand how it archieves its affects. Firstly, you make a sound from your vocal cords, infused with sound chakra, and continually emit the sound which creates ringing in the opponents head, which gets worse over time. Over time i think it throws off their equillibrium, making it so they can't focus on their jutsu properly?

Firstly, how does this jutsu make me -5 resistent to enemy techniques? The chakra part i understand, but i dont get why id be more resistent to damage?
It states this lasts 8 turns, so i assume i need to keep making the sound, does it take a technique slot per turn to upkeep, and does it mean while upkeeping it i cant use any more sound jutsu?
Also, i read something about buffs and debuffs, and only being able to apply 2 at once? Because this technique makes my opponent cost more chakra and reduces damage, does it count as 2 debuffs?

It essentially is sort of an earthquake. Yes, that’s a solid way of putting it. And uh, well there’s no real indicator of what would happen specifically to an underground enemy, so it would be just as bad as a surfaced enemy would have gotten. Honestly, Divinity is a sort of weird grey area with that, but I have to say - its not gonna double stack, only the strongest will apply since its like performing “Punch” while also doing the Divinity technique, which is just still punching em. As for the shattering weapons part…ehhhh that’s getting into a lot of very niche and variable situations that I honestly wouldn’t know how to react towards lmao.

So I’ll pin that question for another time to answer as I dont really know myself.

It’s saying that it reduces the opponent’s technique damage by -5; which is terrible for an 8 turn debuff. And no, its basically self sustained - no upkeep needed. And it counts as one debuff, the +10 chakra debuff doesnt count in this.

As the loud sound happens, it creates an echoing amongst the field, trapping any who hear it under paralysis, causing slight pain to them, causing their ear drums to bleed. Paralysis lasts one turn but the user cannot use any other sound techniques for 2 turns after using it.

First one is a largeaoe clashing sound, which is mainly focussed on the ears/brain, and resonates through the body causing paralyses, pretty simple, even if it comes with harsh drawback of 2 turns for an A rank.

Second is channeling sound chakra into your hair, and as the individual hair strands collide they create enough sound to disorientate the opponent while simultaneously i assume creating some kind of whip like booms which are capable of causing damage

Description: The most powerful sound illusion to be created, A Century of Torture at the Hands of a Banshee is a deviant technique, capable of rendering even the most powerful of enemies riddled with fear. The user will focus his sound chakra into a sound he will produce and which will carry the illusion and trigger it on any enemy that hears it. The illusion triggered is simple but surprisingly effective in all its simplicity: pain. Anyone who hears the sound will feel unimaginable amounts of pain all over their body to such an extent that they may even vomit and lose control of their chakra flow. Upon facing such pain, the enemy will lose control over his body and spasm as they curl to try and alleviate the pain. The longer the target is caught in the illusion the more severe the effect is. The illusion however is just that: an illusion. The pain isn't real or associated with any bodily aspect or damage. The user must, however, sustain the inducing sound and focus into his chakra flow (not being able to mold chakra at the same time) to sustain the effects of the illusion as when the sound ends, the enemy stops feeling the pain and recovers virtually immediately. Sounds that can trigger the illusion and carry it can vary from a whistle (very effective as it can be sustained for a lengthy time and be controlled), scream (less lengthy but easier to perform), music (if the user has a musical instrument), etc. If the sound is momentary, however, it will not induce an effective effect.

The resulting effect is a massive shockwave of low frequency, high amplitude destructive sound that levels anything in its path. The biggest different is that the user can control the area of affect of the technique, depending on the range he targets and the angle of the sound waves his sound waves take. 180º to 90º, the technique is Short Ranged. 90º to 45º, the technique is Mid-Range and from 5º to 45º the technique is Long Ranged. If used within a water source it receives +20 damage.
