Sound 5 vs Asuma and Kurenai

I would go with the sound 5 on this one. they out number Kimimaro is super strong and a close range fighter, the only way they can beat him is Kurenai genjutsu. and they also have to deal with genjtusu, long range fighting Kidomaru, close range Jirobo and Ukon.

Asuma and kurenai doesn't shit but win yes. Kurenai's illusion is inescapable once caught per Databook. Can kill in illusion/clobber enemy's throat either one of those. Asuma chakra blades cuts tress easily + wind chakra is sharpest. Cuts through bones yes.

Portrayal says Asuma and Kurenai destroy them, Kimi being the guy who could even remotely hold his own vs them.

Arguing purely off feats is difficult just because Asuma and especially Kurenai weren't given a lot.

Sound 4 had to use CS stage 2 to beat Raido and Genma and Kido was so scared of the 4 having to fight Kakashi that he waited several hours after Kakashi had left to even approach Sasuke.

Kurenai doesn't belong in a vs thread that uses anything other than portrayal, though.

Lack of feats leads to bullshit like I dealt with in a thread a while back where someone said Tayuya > Hiruzen because he never showed he could counter/escape/etc her sound genjutsu.

I guess some people completely forget portrayal when they click on this forum.

And Raido and Genma (Special Jonin) would have won that fight assuming they started out fresh and with a good level of chakra. I'm not a fan of portrayal, but one such as this is just too hard to gloss over/ignore. Lmao at the bold xD

Portrayal doesn't help some Ninja escape certain techniques tho. Example's C4 vs Hashirama. What's his counter. Literally nothing right. Hiruzen likewise has zero counter to Tayuya's Illusion especially because Naruto Verse don't support ABCD logic.
