Just these two alone would possibly be a handful for Hidan. Hidan is considered an S-Class Ninja because of his Curse Ritual and his immortality. Other than this, he can be defeated... just not killed. All the other Akatsuki members would have low - very low difficulty. Shikamaru "disabled" him due to the fact that he already had intel on him and his abilities. He couldn't win against Hidan during his first encounter because he needed to prep time to defeat him, what makes you think sound 4 could win against Hidan without prep time?

Kidomaru and Jirobo would be destroyed right away, Sakon and Ukon are non factors. Let's not mention the fact that they can't kill him or have no way to incapacitate him.

Hidan solo's Jirobo. But here is the problem. I can clearly seem him successfully catch Hidan in Earth Dome, with a team. Hidan has no counter for Earth Dome.

Tayuya will not be a problem in a 1v1. But her genjutsu can temporally be useful in team battle. Her soul eating tech will be a good helpful too

Kidomaru is Hidan worst match up. A long range fighter who's webs cannot be cut by normal means. Gold armor can help block from getting scratch (only effective if knowledge on Hidan). Once Hidan is caught by them he is unable to fight anymore.

I can see them pulling it off working as a team.

It was never stated that only the gentle fist could cut the web, it only says that the gentle fist can indeed cut it, nothing more.

Oh also it says that the sticky gold armor blocks the chakra pores, though it has no feats that indicate it can block all physical attacks that aren't chakra based.

Not only Hidan can scratch him with ease but Kidomaru has no way of killing him.

Hidan maybe , as everyone stated. Actually Hidan is an awful 1v2, 1v3 etc. fighter. He would lose to any pair of the sound 4 (except maybe fat guy+two-bodies guy) The other akatsuki solo sound 4 with ease, unless the sound 4 manage to catch them in a genjutsu and execute them really fast, which seems unlikely. Oh, and they also beat Yahiko, since he's basically Iruka level, but he usually isnt accounted in these.
