Hello, fellow members.
In this thread I'd like to talk about Soul/spirit/yukai based anime/manga in general, as well to invite you to my group:

How many of you enjoy this kind of stories?
Which have you watched/read?
I'm a relatively a new initiated into this genre, but I must say I enjoy it quite a lot. It's truly a way to get close to Japanese culture and I just enjoy what a deep soul/emotional approach some of them can get.
I've read/watched the following ones:
-Soul Eater (manga)
-Ushio to Tora (manga)
-Mononoke (anime)
-Shaman King (manga and anime)
-Ao no Exorcist (manga, if this one counts, but I believe it does)
So, what my senpai fellows would recommend to me?

I love them. Soul eater and blue Exorcist were awsome. Shaman king was cool to, but the ending was :devil: COWABUNGA F**K!!! :devil:

Daisy did NOT approve of that ending. . .

Were? Soul Eater and Ao no exorcist manga are still on-going! They're awesome!
xd Sk final wasn't all that bad (at least not in the manga, but it was kind of a troll tbh xd).

Definitely watch Yu Yu Hakusho. It's all about beating up demons. lol InuYasha maybe.

P.S. - Watch Yu Yu Hakusho in the English Dub. It's very good, besides Kuwabara.

xd Sk final wasn't all that bad (at least not in the manga, but it was kind of a troll tbh xd).

I wasn't takling about those two. I only meant Shaman King's ending. I just didn't like it. I was such a troll. . . I LOVED the story though, but that ending made Daisy sick. . .

I do love the other two as well and am interested in readng the others.

Oh yeah. I had heard about Yu Yu Hakusho before. Seems interesting

Ushio to Tora has got some of the best yukai designs I've seen!

Sometimes it might get a bit gruesome, and the stories are a bit darker and more dramatic than usual shonen ones, but it's definitely enjoyable as a whole. Lots of action of course.

LOL YEs, it was a very annoying ending xd
But if you enjoyed the story and cast, ya should try Shaman King Flowers It's getting very very gud!
