Everyone is saying the soul king is weak, which he is but i think theres a reason. What if hes extremely powerful but divides his power out to every soul reaper like Bach does Quincy's. It would explain why the original gotei 13 were so powerful because there were far fewer shiningami to disperse his power to. Also it would explain why four noble families exist, because hes a KING they are his most loyal followers so theyre automatically born with more of his power, so theyre like his dukes, counts as other noble labels. And since he can for see the future he gave an exponential amount of power to kenpachi wayyyy ahead of time as some sort of trump card. Idk just food for thought what do you think?

For some reason, I think the soul king saw through this, and either he wanted to get slain by Ichigo or he is not dead, this in order to give him powers to defeat Juha. It's odd when you have two beings with pre cog abilities I believe that the soul king already foresaw this, I don't think the soul king can truly die, if the soul king can create something as monstrous as the original gotei 13 that struck fear into lord yhwach back then, then the soul king must be incredibly powerful, a lot more than people give him credit for. Though I find it odd, why didn't yhwavh just kill the soul king himself and just wait for ichigo to do it?

Most likely, since ichigo's bankai is pro at incredibly powerful, plus with the powers of Quincy, hollow, and shinigami he is rather formidable but at the same time ichibei did express his surety that ichigo and comp could not beat yhwach. Remember the nine years of power are up so there could be much more to yhwach then we know.
