"Alright, before we continue, I want to give a short lesson on elemental interactions. You already know that Raiton is strong against Earth, and weak against wind. In a fight, if you're being attacked with C-rank Raiton, you can use the element that's strong against it; wind, to counter. In order to cancel it out, meaning that the jutsus clash and stop each other, it would only need to be up to one rank lower. So D-rank wind techniques would stop it. Anything higher would continue onward towards your opponent."

"Now, if you were using C-rank Raiton against your opponent, you could destroy up to one rank higher of its weakness, Earth. So that would mean that if your opponent used a B-ranked Earth jutsu, a C-ranked Lightning would be enough to cancel it out."

"If elements are neutral against each other, say, wind and water, you would typically need to have the same rank in order to stop them. So, B-rank wind stops B-rank water and vice versa."

"However, if you use an element that's weak against your opponent's attack, it would need to be 2 ranks higher. So, back to the C-rank Raiton example. If you use C-rank Raiton against me, I would use A-rank Earth to stop it at the very least."

"I'll give you a short quiz... don't worry, nothing too difficult, I just want to test your understanding. Don't worry if you might get an answer wrong or not, just try your best. We are learning, after all."

Souji hands Alluka a piece of paper with some questions on it.

3. I use a B-rank Water jutsu against you. If you countered with FIRE, what would the rank need to be in order to stop it? What happens when Fire and Water interact with each other?

4. I use a B-rank fire against you. What rank does a water jutsu need to be to not only cancel out the jutsu, but continue towards me as an attack afterward?

1. I will use D Rank Raiton. It would continue onward the opponent.

2. It should be of same rank, A Rank. Water and Earth is neutral.

3. S Rank Fire. It would cancel out water.

1. I will use D Rank Raiton. It would continue onward the opponent.

A D-rank Raiton will cancel out the C-rank Earth. Any Raiton higher than that will continue onward.

2. It should be of same rank, A Rank. Water and Earth is neutral.

Water is WEAK to Earth but neutral to wind.

3. S Rank Fire. It would cancel out water.

After the quiz and a short break, Souji created two Shadow Clones of himself by forming the required hand sign.

"From now on, we'll be performing two jutsus per round. It will be a little more demanding, but I'm sure you can handle it. Don't be afraid to stop me if you have questions or inquiries. Otherwise, let's begin with the C-rank jutsus!"

Souji's first clone runs behind a tree and hides, seen by both shinobi.

"Wow... such a good hiding place, heh. Anyway, for this first technique, I want you to weave the Tiger, Snake, and Dog handseals, molding Raiton chakra as you do it. You'll form lightning currents at your hands which will surge towards your intended target."

"This technique can reach up to long ranges, but the real cool part is that while you're controlling the path of the current with your chakra, you can use shape manipulation to maneuver the current around obstacles and hit your targets. For this exercise, I want you to hit my clone behind that tree, but curve the current so that the tree is unharmed, and you only hit him."

The Second Clone walks over to a nearby lake and stands on it, pooling chakra at his feet in order to stay on the surface.

"The second technique in this set has you molding Raiton in both of your hands again, creating a wave of electricity you can fire off up to short range. It's almost similar to the last D-rank we did, except it's a continuous wave rather than lightning bolts. Depending on how much chakra you input, you can make something as small as a shock or even a large attack that can destroy rocks."

"If you combine this technique with a water jutsu, it increases the damage of the technique, creating a water-lightning combination that can zap enemies. That's an elemental interaction. Since you may not have any water jutsus, I want you to instead hit my clone while he's standing on this lake... the natural water source will increase the damage of the technique. Go ahead and try it."

The clone starts doing a little dance for some reason...

Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity from the user's hands. This jutsu can vary in power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is ideal to use in conjunction with a water jutsu.

"I also want your opinions on each jutsu that we do. It doesn't have to be excessively long, but just let me know things like strong or weak points, how you'd use it in a fight... easier jutsus won't require long-winded monologues. Just tell me what you think is important."

"Heck, if you think the jutsu has a cool name, you can even say that!"

 

[Zanithe]

Hitting the clone behind the tree? Alluka extends her arm and does the Tiger - Dog - Snake handseals. As she does so, she molds her lighting chakra in her palms. She extends her arm and points it on the tree. She releases the lightning current and molds more chakra to extend it more. When it reaches near the tree, she manipluates it and sends more chakra to curve it to the side of the tree. As she sees Senpai's clone, she sends more chakra before she zaps it to the clone. Found you, senpai! I think this jutsu is useful, but easy to dodge. Name is fine :/ Could be better though.

Here I go! She focuses her chakra to her palms and creates little electricity. She focuses more to create a wave of lightning. She focuses more chakra to have it go near the lake. The bolts then go and mix with water, and go directly to the clone. Really cool name. Dough a little weak without water.

 

[Souji]

Souji pulls out a kunai and twirls it on his right pointer finger.

"For this jutsu, I want you to channel Raiton chakra throughout your entire chakra system, mold it and allow it to build up at your chakra points; your tenketsu. Once you've created enough, release it through those points and into your surroundings as an unfocused electric current. Afterward, apply shape manipulation to compress this current to form an aura around you that surrounds you with lightning armor, similar to the Raikages', except a weaker version."

"This serves as an offensive and defensive technique. Offensively, it can shock enemies who touch it, and defensively, it can protect you from simple techniques and projectiles. However, after one usage, like, protecting from one attack or shocking an enemy, it disperses. I like using this jutsu when I'm trapped by B-rank Earth techniques because it's fast and can destroy those constructs."

"Got it? Good. Now, try and use this to defend against this! Heads up!"

Without much warning, Souji threw the kunai he was twirling at Alluka, aimed at her left shoulder. Just a little something to keep her on her toes xd

"Alright. This second jutsu is pretty simple. Form the hand seals Snake and an upside down Tiger. Clap your hands together and cause Raiton chakra to race throughout the cliff here, upward. This breaks up the earth and causes the rocks to dislodge and fall downward as a lightning-infused avalanche. Be careful not to crush us both, of course."

"This jutsu isn't really used much, unless you're fighting near a cliff. Very location-based."

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together when near a cliff , the user causes stone and rock to become dislodged and rain down on anyone below it by releasing a wave of electrical energy which weakens the rock and makes it fall as it crumbles. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

Senpai, be careful! Alluka quickly focuses her chakra. She then releases it through her pores up to her feet. She uses manipulation to balance the use of lightning. She keeps her stance and continues to send chakra to balance the armor of lightning. She then feels the kunai senpai threw and touches her left shoulder. The kunai is deflected while Alluka's armor is gone. Don't do that mean thing again, senpai! She then starts speaking; Good name, it's bad that it's just for one turn. Nevertheless it's still a good tech.

Cliff down!She does the handseals Snake - Upside Down Tiger. She claps her hands. As she does, she focuses her chakra to her toes to the ground. She focuses more chakra and sends it in the cliff. She then sends a wave of electricity and hits the biggest rock in the cliff. She sends some chakra and makes the cliff crumble, and it falls down.Ehem, I like the name, but still not a good tech. You can only use it near a cliff, which is a minus. But still, you may wanna hear your enemy scream girly or the such.

"Sorry, Alluka. But I had faith that you could block the attack!" he grinned with a nice-guy pose ^^

"Next! I want you to raise your hand in front of you and mold your Raiton chakra again. The gathering of energy will cause your arm to glow yellow, and once it's reached the limit, you'll be able to fire off horn-shaped lightning bolts, created through shape manipulation. These bolts can hit multiple targets."

"You'll find that a lot of the basic Raiton techniques are pretty similar to each other. It's the simple, chaotic nature of lightning."

"I do have one question for you. In a fight, why would the pale yellow glow in your arms be possibly a disadvantage?"

Souji pointed to a few targets nearby.

After Alluka completed the first technique, he handed her a special training sword. It was blunt without a sharp cutting edge in the shape of a basic katana.

"The reason that sword is blunt is because we're going to prove that lightning increases the cutting power of an object. I want you to get a good grip on that sword, use both hands if you have to. Channel your Raiton chakra from your hands through that entire sword, infusing it with lightning."

"Here's the tricky part, though. By controlling your chakra in the sword and in your hands, you can allow the sword to levitate in front of you, rotating it to create a spinning, floating sword. But we won't be done yet! By applying the principles of cloning, create two exact copies of the Raiton sword, making it three in total."

"By focusing and using hand gestures, you can then swing these swords around like large spinning attacks of death at your targets. Because the swords are infused with Raiton, they'll obviously be stronger. Remember that if your focus breaks, the swords stop, and while you're focused, you can't perform other jutsus, potentially leaving you vulnerable."

He set up a couple of fruits around the area.

"Let's see how good of a fruit ninja you are. Cut up these fruits. It's a hot day and I could use the refreshment."

( Raiton: Inazuma ken Fudou ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Blades Levitation

Description: The user will channel their lightning chakra into their sword to increase its cutting capabilities, and then levitate it in front of them. They will then multiply the sword creating two extra physical copies which are then all manipulated to spin rapidly and are controlled to fly towards and cut through the opponent/s through hand gestures. While controlling the weapons, the user cannot mold chakra for other techniques and needs to keep focus.

Alluka raises her right hand and focuses lightning chakra into it. She continues doing so, and after a while, it turned yellow filled with lightning chakra. Because of the overflow, lightning bolts appear. She then sweeps her hand to hit a couple of targets (You didnt set up some, but yeah) Maybe, the enemy can easily see the yellow glow? She thinks more deeply. Or maybe the enemy can anticipate what happens next? Please correct me if I'm wrong, senpai. This jutsu has a boring name ._. And it is pretty good and looks strong, overall nice technique.

I love swords <3 She then takes the sword, and channels her chakra to it until it has enough. She then makes two copies using Clone Jutsu, and lets it levitate in front of her and continues to support its levitation by the use of chakra. She then spikes her chakra and sends the first one to the first fruit. It hit its left side, a little piece cut off. She them sends the second one, more of the left piece are cut off. She then focuses her chakra on the original, last sword, and throws it at the last fruit. It is perfectly cut in half. Useful tech, especially when you are far from your opponent. It has accuracy as it has 3 swords to use. Name is kinda boring though ._.

(haha, I like how you're actually giving your opinions of the names of each technique. Kind of funny xd)

Souji watched as Alluka performed the techniques with enthusiasm, particularly for the second one with the swords.

"To clarify your question on the first jutsu, yes, you are correct. In a fight, if you see your opponent's hand glow with yellow energy, it's easily read and allows you to counter or interrupt their move without breaking the timeframe."

"Now for the final C-rank jutsu. You'll mold Raiton chakra in your dominant hand and generate lightning energy and bolts that surround your arm. By slamming your hand onto the ground, you'll release this energy as a discharge that can attack the area around you up to short range."

"Nothing that we haven't seen before, but this jutsu can make for a useful area-of-effect attack."

Bolts, lightning. I'm starting to love this. Alluka focuses her chakra onto her right palm. With shape manipulation, she creates lightning bolts, and continues to create more until her hand is overflowing with the bolts. She then slams the said arm onto the ground. She sends it onto the ground, and manipulates it to send it 5 meters away from her. She sends all the lightning bolts to the said area. As always, the names look repetitive ._. Not that useful jutsu, I'd prefer not to use it always ._.

"Form the Ox handseal and mold Raiton chakra in your hands. By holding out your hands in front of you and releasing the Raiton chakra, you'll then use shape manipulation to generate a lightning wall in front of you."

"It acts as a defense against basic projectiles and certain elemental techniques, but what's cool here is that if an enemy comes too close, they'll be shocked. If they touch the wall, all the energy will cause heavy damage to them by electrocuting them. It's a rare jutsu that combines offense and defense."

"For the second technique, you'll use shape and nature manipulation to form you Raiton chakra into a dome in front of you. You can then push this dome forward as a 'wave' attack, and that can even push away your opponents while shocking them. Overall, a good jutsu, but the short range restriction sucks."

Alluka kneads her chakra, uses nature manipulation to turn it to raiton chakra, and uses shape manipulation to shape it to a dome like structure, somehow like a wave of electricity. She then tried pushing it forward, but it didnt really make it far, caz its just short range.

Before he can knock you out, I want you to form Raiton chakra in your fist and create a sphere of lightning around it. By punching my clone with that fist, it detonates against him, electrocuting and shocking him while creating a lightning explosion. Overall, I like this technique and it's useful for close range enemies who are harassing you..."

Souji's Shadow Clone runs up to Alluka and starts punching and kicking her!

As Alluka is being kicked by her senpai, she quickly kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Raiton chakra. He then focuses it on her right hand, slowly glowing from the chakra. After lots of kicks and punches from her senpai, she punches the clone in the face with her hand that had lightning chakra. The clone disperses, but Alluka's bruises did not. You did it again, senpai!!!!!!!!!!! Cool name XD, cool jutsu. I might want to use this in taijutsu fights, since I'm not really good at taijutsu. Overall, awesome.

Alluka starts kneading her chakra, and uses nature manipulation to turn it to raiton chakra. She hold her right hand up in the air, and sends the chakra to the said hand. She starts sending an electrical discharge to the clouds, by sending her raiton chakra. She focuses on hitting the 8 clones around her, and lots of discharges hit the ground. They hit each clone, and they disperse. Fangs of lightning... That's pretty cool XD Pretty useful technique. I'd use it when my opponent makes thousands of clones, I'd one shot all of them XD Overall, cool technique.

These pillars will surround your enemy and subsequently release lightning attacks that will essentially 'screw them over', for lack of a better term."

"The range of this jutsu is excellent, although he pillars are large and conspicuous, which makes them somewhat easy to see and counter. You can even trap things like summons."

"This current can be discharged in two ways; an unfocused wave, or through a conductive material for a more focused attack. If you combined this with a water technique, you'll add extra damage."

Description: After doing the Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat hand seals, the user generates a large amount of lightning from their hands, which can then be either released in an unfocused manner or passed through conductive materials to improve the electrical power of the technique, namely in conjunction with Water Techniques. In fact, certain users have showed that its possible to, if the user has the ability to mold both Water and Lightning chakras at the same time (for example, Darui who has Storm Release), unleash this particular technique at the same time as they exhale/spit some water technique (which needs to consist of a stream of water), combining both in a seemingly consecutive move. Other ninjas will need to use a clone or an ally for the same effect.

 

[Zanithe]

Alluka does the handseals Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare and starts kneading her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Raiton chakra. He slams his hands onto the ground, and releases the lightning chakra into it. She sends the chakra to four spots, all in equal amount of lightning. This surrounds the clone. 4 pillars of earth emerge, and lightning continues to strike into it by the use of her chakra. In a flash, 4 lightning bolts attack the clone, thus it disperses. Name is okay. ._. Great technique, useful, and powerful. I'd prefer using it when I'm nearing loss.

Alluka does the Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat handseals and kneads her chakra, using nature manipulation to turn it to Raiton chakra. She then releases the lightning in her hands in an unfocused way. She fires it at the lake, and lots of fishes get electrocuted and float in the lake. Dat name .___. Inspiration.......... Alluka first slams her hands together, kneading her chakra and using nature manipulation in the process. As she feels the electrical feeling form, she slams her hands onto the ground, quickly sending the said surge down in the ground. The lightning traveled so fast; and it was so strong. As it approached Souji-senpai, Alluka uses shape manipulation to make the surge divide into lightning tentacles. The said tentacles rised up in every angle leaving senpai, hopeless XD. In a flash, she makes all the tentacles attack the clone at once, quickly fodderizing it and it disperses. The name... The name... Is so... Well it's nice. This jutsu is very useful, you trap your enemy in angles to prevent him from escaping. Only, he can yet block himself with a higher ranked wall. Nevertheless, it is a great jutsu.

Alluka raises both of her hands in the air, and kneads her chakra, using nature manipulation in the process. She then charges lightning using her chakra. After some concentrating and mind blowing brainstorming, she points both of her hands to a tree, and suddenly a lightning bolt from her chakra hit it. The tree suddenly burned, electrocuted, fodderized. Name is, OK, I guess. Well, the thing is this jutsu looks easy to dodge, because well, it's easy to predict a lightning bolt is coming. And the answer to the question is; I'd rather dodge it when it is sent to me before it actually lands on me. If I escape while my enemy is charging up the jutsu, he may change its course. Well, overall, okay jutsu.

Alluka channels her chakra to her palms after kneading it and using nature manipulation to turn it to Raiton chakra. She generates a whip like structure in her palms, one each that is made of lightning. She sees 5 targets hanging in the tree. Alluka hits the first one with her right hand. It did not hit the bullseye, but it did get electrocuted. She hit the second one with her left hand, again with low accuracy, but it was electrocuted. She hit the third one with her left hand, now hitting the bullseye. She hit the 4th with her right hand, again hitting the bullseye. At the fifth, she hit the bullseye with both hands, leaving the target to nothingness. All the targets were crisped, but the last was beyond repair. A whip, well you can use it to whip your opponent, and I think this is really painful. Dat name doesnt suit the use doe ._. Well, really nice jutsu. Whipping around like Lucy Heartfilia, now with more interrogation powers ^^ I just wanted to say, awesome jutsu.

"Something cool here is that you can split that spear into multiple parts. However, when doing so, you weaken each individual spear, but it makes up for being a larger attack that can hit more than just one target."

"Let's do a breakdown. If I have one spear, that spear is B-rank in strength. If I split it into two spears, each spear is C-rank in strength. What do you think happens when I split it into four, or eight? What ranks are each spear then?"

Alluka sends her chakra to her right hand after kneading her chakra and using nature manipulation to turn it to raiton chakra. She then releases her chakra while using shape manipulation to change its shape to one like a hound. She release it and aimed it towards the target. The hound basically destroyed the Pain target. Hm, well, cool name. I like dogs z.z. Mid range kinda sucks. Still, I guess it's a great jutsu.

I have one question though, how far is Mid Range?

Alluka kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to raiton chakra. She sends the chakra to her mouth, and opens her mouth. She uses shape manipulation to create a spear. She hits a tree with it, making the tree cry xD I like that name ^^ One of the jutsus that range doesnt suck ~.~

I think each spear of 4 spears is a D Rank. Well, if it is 2 spears, C+C=B. In my thoughts, D+D+D+D=B. Sorry, senpai, I don't know about 8 spears. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
