I think we should put a water marks of the SOTW entries since we are not allowed to add our name because they easily can be ripped and no credits for the one who has worked hard to make it!
What do you think?

O.O cool idea
what's a watermark ?
Well it derives it name from a technique that was used on old texts. A water mark is a mark that garantees the validity of the text. However it's in normal condition mostly invisible(depends on the maker) and it only get visible if you use a certain product on it. Nowadays it's just a symbol to make it valid.

It was used to distinguish fake texts from the real ones. The best example is on the Euro bills, in the right upper corner there's always a building, but you can only see it clearly when you hold it close to light.

That's why I find it a bit pointless to place it on sigs, because eventually people will find out what is your mark and then it's pretty much the same as putting your name on it.

how do we put water marks on it O_O
In this context, if I'm correct, it means that you just put a personal symbol on it. That way, if you would find the sig on another site, you are garanteed that it is yours.

However if you would use it in the SOTW context, after a while it would be obvious wich symbol belongs to wich person. So in the end it's just another form of your name, if I understand the request correctly.

I don't even agree with the no names rule. I won't vote for a person just because he/she's my friend. I'll allways vote for the sig that I like the most

thats how its suppose to be but unfortunantly that isn't what would happen...people would vote for their friends or get people to vote against the people they don't like...

as for the water mark, its a good idea but it should be something that changes every week because people could identify peoples sigs by the water marks
