Naruto never won by out smarting his opponents. Its just his ideals were much stronger so Kishi buffed him with power to win. Kakashi is a proven technician who can make battle plans in seconds. There is a reason he was the leader of Team Kakashi. Cause he is the most capable ninja out of the bunch. Even without sharingan he has 1000 jutsues in his arsenal. Give him chakara and he will be Hogorama level.
