Soooo Neji could see Kakashi's face?

So, since Hinata and Neji both have Byakugan they could see what's rough Kakashi's mask and see his real face! Also, why couldn't Hinata see through Obito's mask with her Byakugan on? I just found this out lol

I think it can depend...they are capable of seeing the chakra network so that would basically only show an outline of the body and a network.

But yes they are supposed to see through objects so yeah she could have seen through. Being in a combat situation, I think she just focused on the network then the face...I mean it didn't really matter since they were just fighting an opponent...after all she was focusing on trying to see if he used genjutsu or if he instead used some sort of body flicker technique....

They don't know Obito so they don't care and they mostly focus on the chakra network since that's actually relevant to combat especially with their internal damage Jyuken style.

No they can also see through things as shown when a Hyuga clan member looked through the card to cheat when they were playing a game and Pain was attacking Konoha. Thanks for the answers though !

They can only see the chakra thats why their jutsu lets them block the chakra points. Go back to the old eps when Neji did it to Hinata when they were taking the chunin exams, it explains it all.

As has been said earlier, they didn't know obito. So, it didn't matter to them who it was. But yes, they can see through masks.
