Haha, since i posted that the story's been edited down to 294 pages. The plot and everything is on the FB page I linked. You can like and follow it will help enormously with promoting it. But here's the general synopsis.
We've all been there - at a place, whether physical or mental, where we feel like we don't belong and in order to fit in, we must quickly adapt to the surrounding environment lest we fall victim to everything it encompasses.
Now imagine waking up in that physical place, and it's a world filled with 8 billion people, and the only mental acuity you possess is that you know for certain that you can at least feel. Everything else: seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling...it is all brand new and foreign to you.
How do you adapt?
Maybe you seek help...but maybe no one can help...
Tactile Therapy, will be my first foray into the world of story-telling through literature. This Fall, follow Joelle Grace on her journey to discover what it means to be human in a way we often can relate to. Lend me your eyes and I promise I'll return them in a better condition.

The day an asteroid entered Earth’s atmosphere, it brought with it Joelle Grace — a young, timid nomad who has landed on Earth — a place she’s never heard of. Though she appears both on the inside and outside as human as anyone, she is anything but. Throughout the story, we follow the narrative of her struggle to acclimate to a civilized society that’s slowly devolving into disarray, and of a man who must balance his life between caring for his family while serving and protecting his people from the perils of an eccentric city also afflicted by the cataclysm that almost was.
This is but a glimpse of what takes place in this expansive story that follows the narrative of six people -- all who share a common past and now find themselves crossing paths with each other once again. No one person is more relevant than the next...and no one person feels this is at all true.
There's so much more to it but i don't wanna spoil anything. I promise you'll be satisfied.
