Pain would've killed Naruto, had he not TnJ'd him... Either he would've totally died against Deva Path, or Kurama would've overtaken his spirit. (Well, that was obviously not happening thanks to Minato), so technically HE didn't defeat a Rinnegan user. And Madara was extremely damaged before absorbing the Shinju Tree.

I guess your right, I don't know how fast madara regenerates, but he is suppose to be the 10 tail jin, even while in that state he should be more powerful than sasuke.

Think about how easily Sasuke and Naruto pwnd him before Madara got his second eye. The dude was hella limited. Tbh, if it was current Sasuke then he could probably solo Madara.
