This...Gives Akastuki a goal, set background for how a Jinchuuriki is treated and knowledge that Naruto wasn't the only one...gives a real sense of the threat that Akatsuki posed to Naruto...and reanimated to foreshadow the abilities Naruto would eventually inherit.

Side characters/subplots shouldn't overshadow the main...

Uchiha wank didn't even really come until the arrival of madara...before that every other character had a heck a lot more significance @_@, and this is an anime...if you think an eye doing that is ridiculous try comprehending how in one piece non devil fruit users can break mountains or how in fate stay night you can be trained to tank several bullets and swords to vital organs, you're still alive, and...you're human. It's anime not real life. I don't get why people talk about uchiha wank when they weren't even really wank until madara came before that they were just a very strong clan, sure there was izanagi but that had legit restrictions. The Mangekou sharnningan was also a rare sight, and they had restrictions so they were OP but were on par with the senju clan as both clans were pretty devastating. The reasons senju's weren't elaborated on is because they all except for hashirama and tobirama, had regular human abilities which may have been superhuman knowing them. The uchiha were more Yin based making them less cliché to write on and given good abilities but were still considered on par if not slightly weaker than the senju (after hashirama came) so you could guess how powerful a senju was. Imo if I wish any clam could get more development it would be tenten's clan because literally...what the heck is her clan?????

Not everybody has a clan, tenten is one if the clanless ppl
