In all honesty I like the way it is now better than the way it was before.....it's a lot more epic and intense. I could care less if they deviated from what a ninja really is, the manga has gotten a lot more interesting because of it in my opinion.

I agree.. somewhat. It is interesting, but honestly.. it's a but disgrace when they use the word "Ninja" or "Shinobi".

It's always been about ninja's, but even in the beginning Naruto had more to it then just typical ninja techniques and abilities, and was obviously leading up to something on a grander scale.

how's it a disgrace? You know in history, ninja's are nothing like what we think of them now. They didn't run on walls or wear all black covering their face all the time. They didn't use shurikens to kill but more for diversion purposes.....they used the most modern weapons including guns if they could obtain it.

They were pretty much mercenaries/assassins....whether to spy, sabotage, spread rumors, kill, etc..

Almost every film/fiction about ninja's is inaccurate.

Naruto part 1 weren't ninja's either if you want to go by a literal definition.

But that's the whole point of fiction, because it's entertaining. Manga's use demons and angels and they are nothing like what they are in myth.

Hell the one piece characters are called pirates.....

I just wanna see more hand to hand combat! Dodging TBBs and making wood dragons is super cool, but sometimes I miss the intensity of Taijutsu.

Dodge a kick, a jab here, a jab there, throw kunai, throw kunai at that kunai, all that was interesting!

I guess Taijutsu has become outdated with all the large scale crap *sigh* ninjas
