Heya, welcome to the RP.
A nice bio youve got! Theres just a couple things youll need to edit before it gets approved. Everyone starts a "academy student" rank, which will mean your health is 35 and your chakra is 300.
More info on bios, as well as ranks and how to increase/ rank up can be found here:

I reccomend you ask a sensei for orientation, they will give you a quick run down of the rp system and help explain a few things like that, as well as youll be rewarded at the end with 5000 kumi!
(Kumi is a forum currency you can earn, which is used in the shop to buy abilities/characters etc)

Welcome to the RP once more and feel free to ask any questions

Something else that is worth mentioning is that even as an academy student, you are still allowed a list of what your "specialties" are. There is quite a diverse range of options to choose from, as well a particular limitation of what you are allowed to combine with what, but all of that is clarified and can be chosen from > Here. < It's worth noting that you don't need to list any if you don't want to yet; perhaps you wanted to "grow" into that category the more you develop your character. It's entirely up to you.

In a quick rundown, specialties are broken down into generally four categories: Primary specialty, Secondary specialty, Unique specialty, and Extra specialty. Most of what you'll find in the list of options are arranged into these categories. Each biography is allowed to utilize a combination of them in quite a diverse array of options, usually looking something like one specialty from each category, or you can even sacrifice in one place to allow for a second of another, such as possibly no Unique Specialty, but instead two Primary specialties. The options are quite expansive, but there are some specialties that require certain prerequisites of others in order to qualify. This sort of thing usually comes out in the Unique Specialties. An example being something like the "Apex Summoning Specialist" which, in order to have, you need to also be a "Personal Summoning Specialist." Things like that. I can understand if it all seems somewhat overwhelming at a glance, but once you've gotten the hang of it and have used the system once or twice properly, it becomes quite clear and easy to navigate, so don't be afraid to play around with it to see how it works and if anything looks off, there will always be someone willing to help you figure it out and straighten things out. ✌

Other than that, I think you'll have fun coming into your character and developing them generously as you progress. There's a lot to unpack when first getting involved in the RP here but rest assured there is plenty of resources to help make it a smooth process, as well a rewarding and fulfilling one at that. If you ever have any questions whatsoever, always feel welcome to reach out to any of the staff; they can generally be differentiated from normal members by having a "Moderator" or even a "Sensei" banner listed beneath their avatars and names, while their names also follow this color format. In my personal experience since I first started last March, they are all incredibly friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you know what you need to know to make things happen for yourself here.

With all of that said, I hope to see you around the NW in the very near future. It's always nice to add more names to the list of active participants. If you find yourself interested, there are villages in this NWRP, one such being Tsumigakure: The Village Hidden in Sin. It's the one I'm currently apart. Villages function as convenient outlets for making quick and easy communication with people who are also actively apart of the RP and have been usually for awhile, so it allows for a community-based effort that everyone who is apart of it, succeeds. It's certainly not a requirement however, so simply keep the option in mind when going forward.

Have fun and welcome to Animebase friend. 👋

Thanks a bunch! Yeah I actually randomly stumbled upon what you referenced and made the necessary adjustments. I have been watching this RP for years too scared to sign up and figured it is now or never lol Hopefully I do not make too many errors, I will try to be the best. Can't wait for my bio to get approved for some character development. I am not new to RP in general, I love RPing just never RPed in something with strict rules like these but I want to try it because it almost seems like a videgame lol but you write. Can't wait <3

That's great to hear, I'm glad you finally decided to take the chance. I'd reassure you that you won't regret the decision, but everyone handles these sorts of systems differently. I too have quite a bit of experience with RP outside of this forum, so it is quite a bit different of an experience that you might be used to, but you have the right of it when thinking of it as a video game. Keep that perspective going forward and add in a bit of a "choose your own adventure/RPG" genre angle to it and you'll find that a lot of things fall into place like a conveniently arranged puzzle. ✌

If you've been hanging around awhile then you probably know that this RP is generally split in two categories that namely have their own forum subsections: The "Naruto Battle Arena" and the "Ninja World." Of course this isn't all that there is, but for the sake of a basic explanation we'll use these two as defining example. The Arena functions as a sort of PvP section of the RP, where members can participant in competitive fights utilizing their biographies for whatever variety of reasons they might want to: Story building, testing skillsets, challenging one another for rights to certain things, whatever seems to tickle ones fancy at that moment. The Ninja World is more of a narrative-based storyline, where members come together to shape the "NWRP" as a combination of influencing parts that all participate in, generally, World Arcs that are developed and released by the RP staff to somewhat drive the story in particular directions. You can generally think of the staff as "Dungeon Masters," as if referring to Dungeons & Dragons, while the rest of us are the players, all working together to set a pace for uncovering and pushing developments in the storyline.

Anyway, this is to say that there is two rather different sides to the RP that helps to diversify what someone might be interested in when it comes to their involvement here. You have options to look forward to, basically, so don't be afraid to sample around and see what works best for you and where you seem to have the most fun. (y)

You can have three bios. I have two bios atm, Alucard and Zora.
Oh okay. How do I get more?
To more clearly expand on this particular subject, you are allowed to have two biographies at the rank of Academy Student - Chunin. Upon achieving Jounin rank, you are granted the right to make and have active a third biography as a privilege of that rank; these are what Skorm are referring to as "Bio slots" and are more commonly referred as "Approved Biographies."

It's worth mentioning that there isn't necessarily a limit on the number of biographies you're allowed to make; that number is virtually limitless, so long as they are each unique to you. But, there is a limit to the number of biographies you can have "active" at a time, or "Approved."

Here you can see two separate sub-forum sections listed in the "RPG Character Biographies" section, which is where this biography (Sonia Belmont) is currently posted. If/when this biography gets cleared by a moderator, it will be moved to the "Approved Biographies" section, which will mean it becomes one of your three (possible) active biographies. If you ever get to the point where you've filled up all of your possible active biographies, you can "Drop" a previously approved biography, which will simply remove it from your active biographies and thus open up one of your three possible slots available for you to have a new one. This is what I mean when I previously mentioned that you are technically allowed to make as many bios as you can/want, so long as they are unique to you. When I say "unique to you," this is generally referring to the fact that you can't make a biography that someone else already has, in terms of their likeness. So, for example, Skorm mentioned having an Alucard biography, which is the Alucard from Hellsing/Helling Ultimate. Since they have that as one of their approved, active biographies, no one else is allowed to make a biography utilizing that same character, so as to avoid confusion of who has what biographies, but also to ensure everyone gets a chance at having something unique to them in the way of the characters they use.

If you're interested in learning more about the details and intricacies of the particular breakdown of what rules there are for biographies, including what ranks afford you what privileges, you can find this defined quite nicely > Here. <
Another thread I would recommend skimming through would be the > Hitchhiker's Guide to the Naruto Role Play. < This thread has several posts that list out quite clearly certain rules, expectations, definitions and so-forth with regards to several basic products of the RP here. ✌
