He wears an outfit very similar to his brother's, which consists of a dark, sleeveless shirt, light-coloured pants and striped leg-warmers typical of his village. Like his brother, he carries a water bottle attached to a belt around his waist and wears bandages around his neck, another trait shared by the seven swordsmen and the standard Kirigakure forehead protector that is struck across it, showing his defection. Overall, Mangetsu and Suigetsu bore great resemblance to one another.

Background Info
History ✯ Sona is a young lady who was born to a royal family found in the land of water. She was the heir to her family’s title as the leader of the house hold but she didn’t want to such a life. She was restrained from ever leaving the palace grounds and was raised alongside her twin sister Luna. She being the eldest twin was made the heir to the palace by birth right. She wanted to become a warrior but this ideology was frowned upon by her parents. Naturally the young girl revolted and somehow managed to escape the grounds.
She was roughly around the age of nine when this happened and fled to the Village Hidden in the Mist. There she remained hidden from society as the princess to the Belle family. She was taken in by the orphanage of the village and was trained as a shinobi of the village. She was a natural born fighter just as she thought to be.
During the Chunin Exams when she was eleven she discovered during a life and death fight between her and a giant bear in the Forest of Death that she had a hidden ability. This was her ancestor’s Hydration Technique. She created an illusion and casted it on it and slayed the beast with her own hands. She later became a chunin and after researching it, she found old documents showing and explaining her kekkai genkai. She then journeyed to the Hozuki Castle where she found more information about her heritage and that her family, the Belle Family was actually members of the Hozuki Clan who didn’t want anything to do with the war of ancient times. She then abandoned her Belle name and became known as Sona Hozuki.
She then remained in the Land of Water, more respectively Kirigakure and now lives and serves the country as a high ranking ninja.
Genjutsu Sona has an exceptionally large affinity towards the art of Genjutsu. She has mastered it towards the point that she is capable of utilizing it with faster hand seals. .
Taijutsu Specialist ✯ Sona is a swift and strong Taijutsu fighter and overall close combat specialist. Her style is quick and accurate, able to target various weak spots on her enemy's body. She is flexible and agile, enabling her to outmaneuver most opponents, as well as giving her great reflexes.

Once she settled into Kirigakure and trained further on, she eventually found her true elemental nature. She has mastered Water well enough that she can cast them with only a single hand seal.
