When I look at his silhouette, the first name that comes to my mind is Di*k.

Di*k the sage of the six paths.

The name Kurama was also used in another Manga series... Yu Yu Hakusho... whereby the character also had a demon inside him.

Kishi... he must have watched them all, DBZ, YuYu Hakusho and many more to derive his 9 beasts...

Honestly, I first really laughed when I read that, but after a little research the name makes sense. It's also a nice reference to DB Z. It's not like he's a main character :|

But I like the Nine-Tails' name better. Kurama just sounds a lot more badass.
