They say life isn't all sunshine & roses
Sometimes that is true
The decay of love occasionally touches our noses
But it has not yet for me & you
I hope that remains true
For more than just a few turns of the seasons
Sometimes the innocent love doesn't turn blue
And it battles back hate's dark legions
True love in the young is rare
And for me it may be happening twice
To some that's not fair
But considering my luck it will suffice
I pray that I never smell loves decay
No not again because I've come so far apart
There's not a thing anyone could say
To fix the damage done to my heart
But actions speak louder than words or roses
Your beautiful blue eyes heal my very soul
I fear the threat the damage to me poses
But on our love I won't let it take it's toll
Sometimes Life isn't all Roses & Sunshine
But you have to go through the bad
To get through to the good and be just fine
I can't promise this but I don't think I'll be sad
