Something wrong about Kishimotos databook or manga

In the databook, Kishimoto says that Gai graduated from the academy at the age of 7(became chunin at 11):

You must be registered for see images

He also says that Kakashi became chunin at the age of 6:

You must be registered for see images

And notice that if the databook is really correct, they have the same age(Gai is roughly 8months older though). So how is it possible that Kakashi was competing with Gai in the chunin exam at the age of 6 if Gai was still at the academy at that moment(so he could not have participate at the chunin exam)?:shrug:

No the problem is not age here, but the timeline which is totally messed up. Anyway as far as i know, yes Kishimoto is suppose to be the one to write databooks

I've said it before, Kishimoto doesn't give a wank about these databook ages. You'll erase half of the so called 'plot holes' if you eradicate the content of these books from your thought process.

Also consider, people like Anko and Hayate are supposedly years younger than Kakashi and Gai, yet they are partaking in the same chunnin exam as them. Further evidence of the databook's failed ages. A consistent timeline cannot exist with some of this data.

No they are not. Some of them are even younger. Kishi just disregarded everything he ever said in the latest chapter. It's almost as if it's a hoax.

One thing we know for sure - Kakashi became a chunin at the age of 6, that much is said not only in data booklets, but also in manga (when Iruka said Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are still too young and inexperienced to participate in chunin exam, Kakashi said that he was 6 years younger than Naruto when he became a chunin).

So I think this information should be the most "canon" - Kakashi became chunin at the age of 6.

I think Kakashi is just 4 years younger than Guy, Obito, Rin, etc. I know data booklet disagrees, but otherwise there is no explanation of it.

I believe this Obito that we see now, that was under the alias of "Tobi" and "Madara" is from another timeline. These so-called "Plot holes" were done on purpose, to prove that his timeline is different from the one we know.
