[Discussion] Something weird...

Okay I was just re-reading the last weeks manga and i noticed something.
Here have a look...

Tobi asks itachi - how did he know about him??

and Itachi replies - that he saw him sneaking into the uchiha tablet room (Nakano sanctuary) and read it....

Now why does tobi feel the need to sneek into the uchiha room after such a long time??? I mean he already knew about the sharingan being able to control the kyubi...and possibly the Mangekyuo sharingan...

But why go to the tablet again??

Also as we know .... his attack on konoha looked pretty much random...I fail to see the motive behind that attack when he has shown such an ability to have the best of plans. I think the only thing that came out of that encounter with Yondaime for tobi was that he got the idea to pull over the mask of Madara Uchiha. (Since the fourth was the first to refer him as Madara uchiha)

Well what i think is that he (tobi) somehow managed to get hold of the rinnegan just before this time when he sneeked into the tablet room... and so he wanted to read the details of the tablet....
Cause tobi himself said that the tablets contents were visible more clearly with.....
Sharingan<< Mangekyuo sharingan << Eternal Mangekyuo sharingan << Rinnegan in that order.

And i think this is also the time when he formulated his plan of Project Tsuki no mi after reading this tablet with the rinnegan that he had acquired.

About the part where he tells itachi about the grudge he had against the clan simply looks like a ruse to me.....to thrown him off onto a false trail. (Since he knows that the real madara was betrayed by his kinsmen)

Another weird thing is his hair.....he had them long at some time while short at the other.

I think , that during that time he teleported Nagato into that room.

And Then they readed it.

Then he Took Nagato back.

And then he confronted Itachi.

Also I think , that Zetsu noticed Tobi , that Itachi was closing in , and then he left the sanctuary.

But the different hairs and things are certainly strange IMO​

Personally, I think tobi had no grudge against the uchihas, he just needed to eliminate them cos they were a threat

It's probably this. I think his true goal was Sasuke, to get him fight along his side. Sasuke has something special about him that has to do with the sage of the sixths paths. Tobi can full anyone, even a smart and intelligent guy like Itachi. But I'm sure all these questions will be answered in the upcoming chapters.

I think after Danzo & Tobi came together to eliminate the Uchiha Clan, Tobi purposely put himself in a position where Itachi would find him. & of course after Danzo placed Itachi to do the elimination itself, Tobi used that "hatred" excuse to simply blend in.

Or maybe his hair grew, you know, like it normally happens with humans

What is weird that their hair isn't growing over time in the manga, rather that it grew.

It's probably just a ploy to throw off the reader and make us think that the long haired masked man is Madara. Kisame recognized short haired masked man and long haired masked man as the same person.

Unless they are both Madara's, then Tobi just grew his hair over the years.
Or maybe his purpose was to fool Itachi (and couple of other people?).

Tobi's power and knowledge + that luxurious, sexy hairstyle of Madara + mask that conceals his face = fake Madara. Not bad Tobi, not bad.

Oh and by the way tobi's main reason for bringing the kyuubi to attack konoha was to frame the uchiha. He knew the attack on konoha by the kyuubi would naturally cause people to blame the uchiha and this will cause conflict between uchiha and senju

This is highly unlikely. Tobi has shown himself to be beyond the petty village affairs......... his goal is to rule the world.

it would actually make complete sense lol..It ties together him attacking with the kyubi, him running away, and then being a part of the destruction of the uchiha clan years later ^_^

The whole exchange is silly. Tobi's responses are like those of a kid caught stealing cookies. You know I'm an Uchiha and that I have a grudge against the clan and village. And, did I mention that I am an Uchiha? While handing Itachi a business card that says Ask me about my grudges.

Well the hair thing I don't think means anything. Ok he had short hair when fighting Minato...EIGHT years passed between then and when he talked to Itachi. That is more than enough time for hair to grow long.
