Something we should keep in mind about Hidan

So Hidan is a pretty randomly popular character in versus threads. I like Hidan and I make threads about him too but I have a little problem about an argument that people use to defend him. It usually goes something like:

"When Hidan gets their blood its over! End thread!"

Now we all know that Hidan uses 1 jutsu and that he must have his target's blood to work. But that's not it!!! He also needs to make a blood circle to make his ritual work. So people when making your Hidan defenses please try to keep in mind how much set up he has to do to make his ritual work and that in a world free of plot no jutsu, most of his enemies arent just going to sit there and watch him draw pretty blood pictures.

The thing about Hidan is he wouldn't be as dangerous in an isolated 1 vs 1 fight. He's lucky Kakuzu was there to back him up during his battle with Asuma. Otherwise he wouldn't have had so much time to draw his ritual circle

If they have info on his ability its a win for the oponent but if they know nothing Hidan can win most battles.

maybe he can but hidan is of nearly average speed. he can be caught by lots of nin, some cant though and i pray for them.

Sad thing is, common sense is as frequently seen on NB as unicorns are seen IRL.

I agree, but it depends. If hidan was to wound you, lets say a leg injure for example which would restrict your movement, hidan could draw his symbol and play with your life.

I do however agree that if he was to cut your cheek although he has your blood, he hasnt restricted your movement for him to create his symbols and what not

Thats very fair, but remember when we saw Hidan, idk if it was kakashi or asuma who sia it, but they said his weapon probably isnt made for heavy damage. Its made for nicking people to get their blood. Not that he can kick them or whatever, but he likes to use his weapon.
